Late at Home (Crow Hogan x F!Reader)

"You're late, honey." (y/n) barked as a small grin formed on her face.

Crow removed his helmet and sighed, "Sorry babe. I was late because I bought you flowers!" He held up a bouquet of roses. (y/n) raised her eyebrow, expecting something else, "And... I did some extra paperwork. For someone else..."

"Oh Crow, you're so noble." (y/n) walked over with open arms.

The married couple shared a kiss. (y/n) took the flowers and spoke, "Now thank you, and you should change out of your police wear. I want you to be comfortable at the dinner table."

"Are the kids asleep?" Crow asked.

"Yes they are. You can check on them if you want, but don't wake them up." She smiled.

Crow ruffled his own hair and went upstairs. (y/n) went into into the kitchen and took out the leftovers. She heated them up in the oven (but not too long), as that happened she grabbed a small pint of ice cream. As that was happening, Crow was taking a quick shower. (y/n) would suspect that he would take a bit, so she started to eat the ice cream. 

After Crow's quick in and out, he got dressed in his nightwear. He went downstairs with a towel in his hands. He was rubbing his hair making sure it was all dry. (y/n) looked up, Crow sat down. (y/n) went to the oven (which was now off), she took out the leftovers. She placed them on a plate and set it in front of Crow. (y/n) then got a glass of water for him. Crow was already digging into the meal. (y/n) smiled then sat down, she began to eat his ice cream again. They sat in a small comfortable silence for a bit. Crow finished his food and laid back into the chair.

(y/n) giggled and ran some fingers through her hair. As she was about to take another spoonful of ice cream, Crow stole that mouthful. He placed it in his mouth. (y/n) scoffed lightly, (y/n) then took the empty plate. Crow began to finish the rest of the ice cream. (y/n) let the plate soak in the sink. 

"Thank you for the meal, Babe." Crow smiled.

"You're welcome, do you have work tomorrow? The kids want to fly that kite you got them, with you." (y/n) spoke.

"I have the day off tomorrow, so tomorrow's gonna be a family day." He got up and placed the spoon in the sink. 

He threw away the empty pint. The two kissed.
