Burning Meeting (Takeru Homura x F!Reader)

"And stay down!" Shouted the female as she kicked the male into oblivion.

She nodded to herself and then turned around. This was (vr/n)'s life now, she's strong and great with dueling. With her strong willed powers and her attitude, nothing can pass her. Soulburner also comes along, and helps her here and there. They became very close. But what is (vr/n) exactly doing? Well, she's dueling 'tyrants' into submission. As young children would describe it, she's dueling bullies to help out other's. (vr/n) didn't want to turn a blind eye to these negative people.

She sought out her destiny through dueling and VRAINS. (vr/n) soon met Soulburner like that. He took an interest due to her attitude and her personality. She's kind to other's, but sticks up for what's right. Soulburner fell in love with that fire in her heart. (vr/n) also put up a big fight after every duel. Even if she couldn't duel, she would settle it some other way. Like with fist, however, that's not all the time. Soulburner only saw her punch someone once, and it was horrific. He had to break them apart, but it left an impression.

"Nice one!" The male shouted as he went over to (vr/n), "He's been on our list for a bit, huh?"

(vr/n) nodded, "Yeah, and apparently, he's been hacking into the system. Luckily we can just report him to the police. They'll take care of him."

The two of them laughed, "Well see ya big shot, thanks for the lame duel!"

Of course, this was all talk. (vr/n) loves dueling, but she needs to put on this persona for bullies like him. Soulburner knows her, but he doesn't know her in the real life. They only see each other in this world, but not on the outside.

It began to press on his mind, who is (vr/n)? It's truly a mystery for him, he tried asking but she never spoke up about it. She would just laugh and pat his back. She stated it was not really a big deal for him to know. She's fine in the real world, but great in VRAINS. Soulburner took a liking to that, though he just wanted to see (vr/n). Of course, he exposed himself to her. He told her that his name is Takeru, and he would love to get to know her more and more. 

Alas, (vr/n) couldn't accept the meeting. She claimed that it wouldn't be that eventful. (vr/n) just always giggled away those events. Soulburner though could see something within her. Something odd and something else. Her eyes, she looks like she's in pain. Is this world too much for her? Or does she hate doing this? Whatever it is, it's keeping Takeru awake at night. He wants to know what's hurting her. Perhaps, it's a matter of who is hurting her. He knows that she's not apart of the Hanoi. So that's definitely out of the question. Maybe, someone hacked into her systems.

"You want to see me in the real world, because you think I'm hurting in some way?" (vr/n) almost laughed.

Soulburner spoke, "Hey uh, I'm serious! I just want to see the real you. I wish I can see you, we've been so close. We've known one another for months."

She smiled, "I understand, I've been thinking about that actually. How about this, I'll give you my number. How about that?"

Soulburner looked shocked, "Seriously?!"

She laughed, "Yes Soulburner, yes!"

He sighed, "Alright! I'm pumped now!"

(y/n) whispered her number to him, and he continuous whispered it to himself. After he left the virtual world, he texted her ASAP. She told him that her name is (y/n). She then told him to meet her at the hospital. Takeru thought it was odd.

Ask to see (y/n) (l/n), they'll understand.

Takeru responded after he read the text.

Alright. Why are you at the hospital?

That's a story for later.

Takeru frowned a bit, he wasn't too excited for this. He went to the hospital address and he asked for (y/n). He then was brought to her room. She was hooked up to all kinds of things, but she managed to keep her laptop near.

"(y/n)?" He asked.

(y/n) opened her eyes, and smiled, "Soulburner, it's you."

A small chuckle escaped her lips.
