A Bughead Story

Wedding Part 2

Betty's POV
It was now time for the reception and the fire four were walking to the table. I decided us four sit at a table together. "Ok guys I sit here next to v. Then Archie you sit on the other side of v. Then juggie you sit there." We all took our seats.

"Time for the best man speech." Said archie.

"You better not embarrass us." Said juggie.

"No promises." I rolled my eyes. Archie got everyone's attention. "Hi thank you all for coming. It's time for our best man speech. Ok first of all let's all be honest here we all expected them to get married." Everyone murmured. "I honestly expected Jughead to pop the question sooner. But they're soulmates. We all know it. Sure at first it seemed like a weird pair but they're each other's other half. They love each other. In fact they love each other so much they just like in their own world. Let me tell you about game nights at the Cooper/ Jones household."

"Oh god" I Said. Everyone laughed.

"So we all decided to have a game night with the core four. So Betty and Jughead invite us to their house. They let us in and we start playing. Well some of us start playing. They're over her laughing and whispering each other's ears some stupid stuff. They're canoodling and kissing. Like 'aw juggie I love you' and 'Aw betts I love you too'" Archie mimicked.

"It wasn't even that bad."

"That bad! You did that for two hours! Straight! Now let's move on to our little beach visit."

"No!"

"Well. We got to the beach and we had to get out of the car. They both had to be separated for two minutes! And when they see each other they're like 'oh juggie I missed you!' Like what? And Jughead just says 'i missed you too betts' what?! Two minutes. Then we all decide to go to the beach and Betty refuses to get in if Jug isn't. Literally refuses. We tried to pick her up and carry her and she had a hissyfit. Screaming and crying. Thrashing all around. I had to put her down so it didn't look like I was torturing her! Also! They're are such a detective duo. Give them a round of applause!" Everyone clapped. "I mean they found Jason's killer and the black hood! But here's another story! One day Jug and I decided to have a guys day and the girls had a girls day. The whole day Jug kept talking about Betty. 'Oh I wonder how Betty is' 'oh I love Betty so much I'm so lucky to have her' 'I miss Betts so much' 'when is this over I want to get back to betts' literally the whole time. So when I got home with Ronnie she tells be betty did the same thing! And we just laughed for the longest time. But moral of the story is they love each other and they deserve to be with each other. Thanks." He sat back down and I glared at him.

"Seriously Archie. I did not have a hissy fit."

"Says you. I know you did. Veronica can vouge."

"He's right." I rolled my eyes and we continued to eat. Once everyone finished it was a father daughter dance. Then the father in law and daughter dance. I decided I wanted to dance with FP because I just thought it was a good idea. Then it was the first dance where me and Jug dance. So Dad and I got on the dance floor and we danced.

"I'm so proud of you sweetie. At first I definitely didn't like Jughead but now he's grown on me. He makes you happy and I can see it. I just want what's best for you."

"Thanks Dad. I really love him. I know he cares for me too."

"That's amazing honey." Once the dance was over now I had to dance with FP.

"Thanks Betty."

"For what?"

"For making Jughead happy in ways I never could."

"Mr. Jones you do make him happy. He loves you."

"I sure hope so. But he loves you so much. I can see it. And the way he talks about you."

"Thank you."

"And please. Call me FP." I smiled and nodded. Next was Jughead. He walked on the dance floor.

"Hello Husband." I Said giggling.

"Hello wife." He smiled at me. I rested my head on his chest. "I love you betts."

"I love you too Juggie. You're vow was beautiful."

"So was yours." I smiled and I could tell he was too without having to look at his face "Excited for our honeymoon?"

"Of course. Aruba here we come!" I laughed.

"You need to chill out betts."

"I know" I giggled. "Well. I'm ready for the future. Are you?"

"Of course." Once our dance was finished and the whole evening was over it was time to say our goodbye.

"Bye Mom. Bye Dad." I Said.

"Bye sweetie. Have fun." Said my mom.

"Bye honey. Love you." Said my Dad. I walked over to my friends.

"Bye v. Bye Archie. See you soon."

"Bye Betty." Said archie.

"Bye b. Have fun. And tell us all about it!"

"Alright." I Said laughing. I walked over to Kevin and Cheryl. "Bye guys." I gave them hugs.

"Bye betts. See you soon. Remember to tell me everything." Said Kevin.

"Goodbye dear cousin. I'll see you soon."

"Bye Cheryl. And of course kev." I smiled and headed to Jughead. "Bye FP. Bye mrs. Jones. Bye Jellybean."

"Bye sweetie. Have fun." Said Mrs. Jones.

"Bye Betty. Be safe!" Said FP

"Bye Betty!" Said Jellybean. We boarded the plane. I got the window seat and juggie was to my right. I held his hand tightly.

"You ok Betts?"

"Just a little nervous. I don't like planes."

"It's ok. I'm here. I'm sure it'll be fine." The plane was taking off and it was pretty smooth. "See. Perfectly fine." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Can we watch tv?" I asked.

"I mean I guess."

"Yes! I can watch Supergirl!"

"Why do you like supergirl anyway?"

"Um hello! There's finally a girl super hero. It's always guys. Like girls can kick butt too I don't see why it has to be guys. Exception for black widow and storm of course. Plus I just love the storyline. Also in real life Melissa benoist and Chris wood are actually dating which I think is really sweet since they play on screen lovers."

"That's nice betts."

"Mhm." The rest of the plane ride went well. Mainly just Jughead cracking jokes and me watching supergirl. When we got to Aruba we went to our hotel. It was beautiful. We got a great view of the sea and I loved it.

"Isn't it great betts?!"

"I love it!"
