A Bughead Story

Jughead!

Betty's POV
"Jughead! Omg!" I screamed. He just passed out.

"Jughead?!" Veronica and Archie yelled.

"Juggie wake up! Jughead Jones!" I Yelled. I cried into his shoulder. I felt for his pulse. It was so small I could barely feel it but it was there. I sighed. I held him in my arms crying until the ambulance came. They loaded us into ambulances. Jug and I were in one, Veronica and Archie in another. After a few minutes I got extremely dizzy and fainted.

I woke up in a blank room. I stared at the ceiling. The memories flooded back and I shot up. I groaned in pain and my doctor came in.

"Hi. I'm doctor sawyer. I see you're awake." He said.

"Jughead. Where's Jughead?" I asked.

"Your husband?" He Asked.

"Yes. Where is he? Is he ok?" I asked.

"He's in surgery. He had some internal bleeding, broken ribs, and he had a large wound in his head." He said. I sighed.

"Oh. What about Archie and Veronica?" I asked.

"Ah. Archie has a dislocated knee and a large wound in his stomach. We did put his knee back in place and he just got out of surgery. Veronica had cuts in her leg and head but she got out of surgery about an hour ago. They're both awake." He said.

"Can I see them?" I asked.

"Yes. You did have cuts in multiple areas but your surgery went well. You did faint in the ambulance. But you can see them. Just you can't walk yet so you'll need a wheel chair." I nodded. He left and a nurse came in. She helped me into a wheelchair and wheeled me to Archie and Veronica's room. They were both awake.

"V! Archie!" I squealed. The nurse left. I wheeled over to Archie's bed. Veronica sat on Archie's bed although she had her own bed. She was cuddling with him.

"Omg Betty!" They exclaimed. I gave them both hugs. "Is jug ok?" Archie asked.

"He's still in surgery." I replied.

"Oh." Said Veronica. "He'll be ok B." She said. I sighed.

"I don't know V. He walked around, carries you, helped Archie. I think he did too much while he was injured. He saved you guys but he just made it worse for himself." I said sadly.

"Betty Jughead is just a good person. He wanted to help. And yeah it might've affected his injury but he did a good thing. You know that. And nothing will happen to him." Archie assured me.

"Yeah. If something happens at least it happened for a good cause." I Said.

"Nothing will happen." Archie reassured. I nodded. A few minutes later Doctor Sawyer walked in.

"Sorry to interrupt but Jughead is out of surgery." He said. I gasped. "His room number is 134." He Said and left.

"Guys I'm sorry but I need to go." I Said. They agreed and I wheeled to his room. I wheeled to his bedside and held his hand. A few seconds later he woke up. "Omg juggie." I Said.

"Hi betts." He replied. I gave him a kiss.

"You scared me you dingus!" I Said. He chuckled.

"Sorry. I love you." He said.

"I love you too." I Said. We chatted for a while until Toni arrived. "Oh uh. Hi Toni." I Said.

"Hi Betty. Hi juggie." She Said. I internally cringed. Only I call him juggie. I didn't say that though as to not be rude.

"Hi Toni." Jug Said.

"Oh uh Betty can we talk. In private? I just wanted to clear the air." Toni said. I nodded and wheeled away. We were outside jugs room but he couldn't see us.

"What'd you need to say?" I asked. She came up to my face and put her hand on my leg. She put all of her weight on my leg and I winced in pain.

"Stay away from juggie. He's mine. I've known him longer." She whispered in my ear.

"Um sorry to tell you but we're married. We have children. And Newsflash. I've known him since I was four so I don't know what you're talking about." I Said through gritted teeth. She stood up and walked away. No response I guess. I took a moment to recollect myself before I wheeled back into Jugheads room. What I saw broke my heart. Jughead and Toni kissing. It took just a little too omg for him to pull away which I hated.

"Betty." He said when he pulled away. I felt hot tears rush down my face. I rushed to Archie and Veronica's room.

"Omg B. What happened?" Veronica asked.

"Toni kissed Jug! Or the other way around. I really don't care. But the kiss lasted like five seconds. Which is way too long! If he didn't want it he would pull away quicker! And Toni threatened me!" I Said angrily.

"Betty." Archie said. I cried and cried. It felt like it wouldn't stop. I just sobbed for the whole night while Archie and Veronica tried to comfort me. It felt practically impossible to feel any better.
