A Bughead Story

Summer break

Betty's POV
Juliet and Daniel are staying with my grandparents up state with my parents. My parents are going up there to visit and I said the the kids could tag along since they never really met them. Jug and I would go but we decided it'd be a good bonding experience. Plus my parents can spoil them. So Jug and I are left here. Unless we go on some spur of the moment trip. Which may happen. "Hey jug. Wake up." I Said.

"Hmm?" He Asked.

"We need to say bye to the kids." I Said. He groaned but got up. We sent them off with my parents and we went back inside. "Ok Jug. We have the whole house to ourselves for a few weeks. What do you want to do?" I asked.

"Hmm. Cuddle?" He suggested.

"Nah. I don't think so." I teased. He rolled his eyes but smiled. We both ran upstairs and cuddled in bed. A little while later our doorbell rang. "I'll get it." I Said jumping up and rushing downstairs. I opened the door to find Veronica and Archie. "Oh hi! I wasn't expecting you guys. Where's Dana?" I asked.

"She's with my parents." Veronica replied. I gave her a hug and welcomed the into the house.

"Oh. How's parent life?" I asked.

"Uh tiring." Archie said. I ran upstairs and they followed. I crawled back into bed. V sat at the edge of the bed and Archie sat in a chair.

"Yeah. When we first had Juliet we didn't get any sleep. Is Dana going to stay with your parents?" I asked.

"Yeah. Just for the night. We're gonna pick her up tomorrow afternoon. They haven't had much time with her yet." V answered.

"Well Archie do you like being a Dad?" Jughead Asked finally joining the conversation.

"Yeah. I mean it's much more than I had anticipated. It's very tiring." He replied.

"Yeah. But at least she's not a teenager. Juliet is growing up so fast I don't know how long I have to appreciate her cuteness." Jug responded. Archie chuckled.

"Yep. But Dana will always be my little girl. Just like Juliet will always be yours. I love her with all my heart." Archie swooned. I smiled.

"That's adorable Archie." I Said. V nodded and kissed him.

"Juliet is my baby girl and always will be. And I know you love Dana. It's just natural. I love Juliet so much it's crazy. Shes the light of my life. Except for Betty. She's my little girl and I would protect her at any cost. I guess that's just being a dad." Jughead Said. I smiled and kissed him. He is so utterly adorable.

"You are the cutest jug." I Said.

"Thanks betts." He said smiling.

"Anyway. I just want to hang out. Enough baby talk. I love Dana but I really need a break!" V exclaimed. I laughed.

"Ok ok. Are you guys staying over?" I asked.

"I mean if it's ok. We have all our stuff here. It's like a second home." V said laughing.

"Yeah. Do you want to sleep in our room or the guest room? Or we can all crash downstairs or something?" I Said.

"Ooo. Let's crash downstairs. We haven't had a sleepover in so long. Oh! We should go on a camping! Or on a trip! We haven't gone since high school!" V said. I smiled.

"We do! How about next week. Are you guys ok with that?." I suggested. V nodded. "So you guys... how are you two?" I Asked.

"Pretty good. We haven't really fought that much which is good." V replied.

"Oh. That's nice." I Said leaning closer to Jug. He wrapped his arms around me and looked me in the eyes. I looked back at his beautiful blue ones and smiled. He leaned in and kissed me. I smiled and pulled away after a few seconds.

"You guys are just the cutest. Still even after all these years." V said. I smiled and hid my head in the crook of his neck. He kissed the top of my head.

"You guys wanna watch I movie?" I asked. Everyone nodded. I put on The Notebook and the boys groaned.

"Bettyyyy." They whined.

"This movie is amazing. Shh. Plus you guys picked the movie last time remember." I Said. Last time we watched fast and furious. I fell asleep like halfway through. They reluctantly agreed and I laid back down. We watched the whole movie and then it was time for Dinner. I made lasagna and we devoured it. Then we got ready for bed. "Uh do you want the couch?" I asked v.

"It doesn't matter to us." She said. I nodded. We all just ended up laying on the floor. I couldn't sleep but everyone else was.

"Jug. Juggie." I whispered. I turned to face him.

"Hmm? You ok Betts?" He whispered.

"I can't sleep."

"Oh. Come here." He pulled me into his chest and wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head on his arm and smiled. "Better?" He Asked.

"Mhm." I mumbled. I fell asleep quickly.
