Betty's POV
Juliet is now turning two and I'm so excited. Jug should be home soon but he's at work. I am setting up the house right now with Ronnie. "Hey v can you see if this banner is straight?"

"It looks great b." I smiled and fixed it. I climbed down from the ladder. "Ok. That seems like everything. Now we just wait."

"Yeah. Jug should be here soon."

Jug is still not here. We're well into the party and he's not here. Ugh. I knew he should've taken off of work. That stupid book signing across town! He said he'd be back well before the party started! Argh! Everyone was already here and we had to wait for Jug to eat dinner. "Where is he?!"

"I don't know b. Calm down. Just text him."

B: where are you Juggie?
J: I'm so so sorry. I just had a few more people to sign. Please don't be mad.
B: I'm not Jug. Just please try and get here soon. Juliet has been asking about you.
J: I'm on my way. I'm almost there. I'm so sorry.
B: bye. Love you.
J: bye. Love you too.

I was a tinge but mad but I was more sad that Jug wasn't here. I knew Juliet was looking forward to this and so was i. A few minutes later he burst through the doors.

"I'm so sorry I'm late." I smiled sadly at him. He gave me a peck on the cheek and walked over to Juliet. "Hi Juliet! Happy birthday my little rose!" He calls her his little rose Because in Romeo and Juliet there is quote that references a rose.

"Daddy! You here!"

"Yeah my little rose!" We ate dinner and cake. The only people there were my parents, Polly, JJ, Archie, Veronica, Kevin, Cheryl, FP, Jugheads Mom, and jellybean. Once everyone finished eating we said our goodbyes.

"Bye Mom. Bye Dad. Bye Polls. Bye jj." I Said.

"Bye sweetie." Said my mom.

"Bye darling." Said my dad.

"Bye betts." Said Polly.

"Bye aunt Betty." Said jj. I walked over to Jugheads family as Jughead said goodbye to mine.

"Goodbye FP. Goodbye Mrs. Jones. Goodbye Jellybean."

"Bye Betty," said FP and Mrs. Jones.

"Bye Betty. See you soon." Said Jellybean. I walked over to my friends.

"Bye v. Bye arch. Bye kev. Bye Cheryl."

"Bye Betty!" Said Cheryl and Kevin.

"Bye b." Said Veronica

"Bye betts." Said archie. Everyone left and it was just me, Juliet, and Jughead. Juliet was in another room. He turned to me.

"Betts I'm so sorry!"

"It's fine Jughead. I'm just disappointed that's all. I was looking forward to this and so was Juliet and you're just a bit late. It's ok Jug." I Said.

"Are you sure? I'm really sorry I promise I'll make it up to you guys."

"I'm sure. Just let's go hang out with our daughter. She is two after all." I Said with a small smile.

"Alright." He Said kissing me. We began walking to Juliet's room and she was bolting down the stairs.

"Hey Juliet. Why are you running downstairs?" I Asked picking her up.

"I wanted you to tuck me in." She Said grinning.

"Alright. Come on my little rose." Jug Said as I handed her to him. He started tickling her and she laughed. We all went upstairs as a family. Jug laid her down on her bed and I pulled the covers over her.

"Can we Read a story?" She Asked.

"Of course princess. Which one?" I Asked. She pointed to green eggs and ham. We began reading it to her in funny voices and she giggled. When we finished the book she was practically asleep. We both kissed her little forehead and said goodnight. "Night princess." I said smiling.

"Night my little rose." Jug Said.

"Goodnight." She mumbled. We left the room and went back to our bedroom. I sat on the bed as Jughead changed.

"Jug?" I Asked.

"Yeah Betts."

" Can you start working less? Just cause Juliet really loves you and she misses you when you're gone. And I don't want you to miss these important events." I Said nervously.

"Yeah. Of course Betts." He said crawling into bed. "Next time you feel upset tell me. And I'm really sorry I had to miss this." He Said kissing my cheek.

"It's ok Jug. Let's just get to bed you doofus." I Said. He laughed and we both fell asleep.
