The Baby

Jugheads POV
Today was the day we find out the baby's gender. We were getting the ultrasound right now and I was so nervous. "Hmm ok you want to know the gender now?" The nurse asked.

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

"Alrighty. It is a girl." I gasped and so did Betty.

"Omg! A baby girl!" Squealed Betts.

"Daddy's little girl! Omg. So Juliet or Jane it is."

"I honestly think we should go with Juliet. I just love it so much." Betty said. I agreed.

"Would you like some pictures?" The nurse asked. We said yes. Once we got the pictures we went to pops to meet Archie and Veronica.

"Ok. Boy or girl? Spill." Said Veronica. I handed them the pictures. And they examined them.

"It's a.... girl!" Betty and I said in unison.

"Congrats guys!" Said Archie.

"Wow. That's great guys!" Veronica said. We continued talking for a while after until we went home.

Betty's POV
Veronica and I are watching a movie when my stomach hurts. "Ow." I Said.

"B! What's wrong? Are you ok?"

"My stomach kinda hurts."

"Omg. Honey your going into labor!" Right then and there my water broke.

"Omg! We need to call jughead. Pass me my phone." Veronica did as she was told. "Juggie!"

"Hey Betts. What's up?"

"I'm going into labor. Get over here!" Luckily he's at Archie's and Veronica's place which is only a few blocks away from our house. 

"Omg. I'm on my way. Keep breathing!"

"Ok ok. Just hurry!" I hung up. Now I called my mom. "Mom! Im going into labor. Please! Hurry!"

"Omg! Im coming sweetie. I'll meet you at the hospital with your father."

"Ok. Bye Mom."

"Bye!" I hung up. A few minutes later they came rushing through the door. "Juggie. Thank god." He helped me to the car and we rushed to the hospital.

"Please. My wife. She's in labor!" The nurses put me in a wheel chair and wheeled me into a room. I laid on the bed with a hospital gown. The doctor came in to check.

"Ah. 9 cm dialation. Shouldn't be long now." Now I was breathing so heavily and was in so much pain.

"Ahhhh! Owww! Dear lord this hurts!" I yelled.

"Hey. I'm right here. In and out. In and out." Said Jug. Only he was allowed in the room.

"Ok. Ten cm. Time to push." I pushed and pushed until Juliet finally came out I could hear her little cries and I felt when she kicked my thighs when she cane out. They did some checks and swaddled he. They handed her to me.

"Hi my baby. Your precious. Your so beautiful." She was basically bald but her eyes were so beautiful. They were a blueish green. A combination of both our eye colors. I just stared at her lovingly.

"Betts can I hold her?"

"Yeah." I handed her to him gently.

"Hello Juliet. You are so beautiful. Just like your mommy. I love you already." I smiled as he walked around the room rocking her. After a few minutes they let Veronica, Archie, and my mom come in.

"Omg b! She is so adorable!" Said Veronica. "Can I hold her?" Jughead nodded and handed her to Veronica. She smiled at her and rocked her gently. We passed her around until everyone had held her. Then she went back to me.

"Sweetie She is just the cutest little think." Said my mom. I smiled. "Ok. I need to get going. Your father should be coming soon. He's stuck in traffic." I nodded and she left.

"She really is adorable. One cute baby of yours. But we should get going. And you need your rest." Said Archie. We said our goodbyes and they left.

"Isn't she cute." I Said.

"Yep." A little while after she had to be taken away to sleep. "Ok Betts. You should sleep. We can see her again in the morning."

"Ok. Goodnight Juggie."

"Goodnight Betts."
