As the days seem like weeks, Abby groaned laying down on the back of Dusk groaning, "I need to eat...but all I have left is five days worth of once a day meals....and merely 2 snacks...and now...3 more bottles of waters left..."

Then I nanaged to smell something close, Dusk spoke up, "What's up?"

"Water..."I spoke up cheerfully, "There's water nearby! Freshwater too!"

I started barking up a storm as Abby seemed to notice, she then slightly made a shoo at me, "Alright Abby, Lead the way."

I then sat down, barking, "Oh no, check the journal, from now on, I would use the journal's teachings to you!"

As if Abby could hear me, she reached for the album in her bag and carefully took out the journal..right on the first page, showed a list of context of where to go...amd right in the journal on page 32, it gave some commands for dogs.  She then read it for at least a minute then she pointed her hand and spoke, "Voran!"

I then got up and did so, "That's a girl!"

I then ran into the forest as she put the almbum back in her back quickly and dusk followed behind, then as they got there, I sat by the huge lake with a waterfall, With the waterfall at least 15-20feet high and you can jump of the side leges into the river...on the left side when looking at the waterfall, standing right across from the waterfall, was a little cave where it was not completely covered by rocks and it was very thick and stable, all of us could fit in it...it was a best way to get shelter at...

When Abigail saw this, she instantly was happy, quickly removing the saddle and the reigns off of Dusk and settling in under the little cave entrance; when doing so, she quickly got on her bathing suit and hopped into the lake swmming and giggling, I hopped in after her.

Her looks were full of joy  and happiness, but deep inside, she was terrified and adfraid...I could sense it in her...after a few hours, she got out and so did I and we sat under the cave as Dus napped behind us. Abigail read the journal, and learned the words and actions... and then when she got to the end, she noticed some notes by her grandfather. It was like a log of every event during the war...

She read, "September 11, 1914: I was assigned to assasinate all in the enemy's army as the areal sniper; I was barily able to sustain my balance because of the heat. Calli was there to silently warn me and help me, reminding me to lessen on my food and water habits as the task was in the hotttest place in the world. I thought I wasn't gonna make it, but after 5 days under the sun of surpressing heat, the task was done and me and Calli survved another fight in the war."

Abigail then looked back and shook me gently, smiling, "That was you, wasn't it?"

I cutely lay my head on her lap for a moment...then I heard Dusk mumble in his sleep then letting out some gas, Abby and I just quietly snickred...wonder what was up with his dream about butter cornflakes? Then after some time, my ears pirked up and as Abigail was sleeping, I walked out just as the sun was closing in on sundown; someone was nearby, I could smell it...I then went up the little steep hill as I went to the back of the cave, if not on top of it, and  noticed a huge wolf like figure, I barked up, "HEY! What are you doing here?!"

The wolf seemed to have a very old man's deep tone, "I should be asking you the same thing, what is a pup like you doing in this part of the woods?"

I barked, boldly, "I don't have to say anything to you."

The wolf creature then hopped off the stump rock and walked over to me, I stood my ground as he spoke, "Tough pup, huh? Heh, I was just like you when I was your age, bold hearted."

He looked a lot like a wolf, but within his thick coat was a dark outlines of a husky, even though the tail was slightly curved up, but it was not a husky tail, it was a wolf tail with a curve in the tail's tip. His left eye was brown while the other was yellow-green, I spoke up, "What are you?"

"I'm just a wild dog, but not fully wolf, What's your name kid?" he spoke up, kindly.

With a decent trust and no harmful look in his eyes, I spoke up, "Lilly, you?"

"My name is Bently," he spoke up and then questioned, "Why are you out here?"

I spoke up, confident, "The tornado hit my owner's home..I'm trying to get her to the safety of the cabin just north of here..."

"Good luck with that, from where you are standing, you need to swim over the river, and there is no way a pup like yourself can swim," Bently said, as he turned away, "So give up the travels, kid, you won't make it."

I barked up, angrily, "Excuse me?! I am not some kid! I'll have you know that I've been in wars before I died...TWICE!!! I have been reincarnated!"

"I don't believe that for one second, pup," he then looked back at me, glaring, "I've seen wars and I've known no one whom has relived to tell the tale, being reincarnated is a myth...forget it pup, turn back now and save your owner."

Bently just scatters away as I barked loudly, "I WILL get her to safety, nothing will stop me from getting her safely back home!"

Then I ran back down to Abigail and she was sleeping as then I crawled under her arm and slept next to her. That night, as the moon was high a loud high pitch growl came from next to Abigail I then growled back and barked, waking Abigail with a scared jerk; and so did Dusk. Dusk neighed loudly, "We are dead! A coyote!!! Oh man....no I know how Barth feels."

I barked at the creature, "Leave us! This is our territory!"

Thew coyote seemed to have a high pitch and squeaky crackly laugh, "Oh~ a brave little mongrel! This was my turf before you and your pesky human came here..and now...I'll have one meal before I sleep retaking my den!"

As the coyote attacks, Bently came in and tacked the Coyote by its throat and barked back at me, "Go! Hurry!!!"

I wanted to help but I helped Abigail get far from the den as possible on the back of Dusk, then I stopped him, "Wait right here!!"

Dusk neighed as I ran back, "Lilly! Wait!!!!"

I rushed back in to see Bently against the wall, still in defense as the very wounded Coyote snarled viciously, "You just signed your death wish, old man!!!!"

As the Coyote attacks, I jumped in not realizing I bit his throat and used my paws to push off of him, letting go of his neck. He fell right into the fire pit and yelped loudly and the fire was high and lit fiercely, Bently and I scurried off before more trouble aroused and made it to Abigail, who was still on the horse and was a bit shaken up at what happened. I spoke to Bently nearly out of breathe, "Why? Why did you save us and fight alone?"

"I'm a lone wolf, can you blame me for making my own decisions?" Bently spoke up calmly.

"No," I said looking at him as I was not fooled, "You aren't just wolf are you? You are a mix...like I am."

Bently sighed deeply and a very long sigh it was, he then spoke up as if he couldn't deny no more, "Yes...I'm...a hybrid...but, I'm more wolf than I am my other breed..."

"Which is husky, am I wrong?" I asked as I sat down.

Bently does so as well, "I'm husky alright...and a tough one at that..."

Then my eyes curved to the scar on his eye, "So...can you help us?"

"For a human, no," Bently said, but his face looked like it was slightly happy, "But for a courageous pup like you, I will. At your age you'd be training to fight and not actually face real threats."

"So, you believe me?" I said happily standing up as my tail can hardily contain itself.

Bently groaned, "I'm not sure the term 'Believe' is what I would stand for...however, you did save my life that only at least a year old pup would have done, you have my guidance; and please...stop starring at my death wish on my eye?"

I bark happily as the wolf got up and slightly moaned a bit and spoke up, "Come on, you and your show pony, before rain falls, there should be a cave at least 5 miles from here, we can make it before the rain falls if we don't stop."

Bently went on as Dusk whispered to me, "Do you really think we can trust this guy?"

"Dusk," I said confidently, but unsure myself, "He saved our lives, and I saved his...and besides that, I think there is more to his background than what meets the eye....his scar says so."
