As the showers of rain were slowly pouring, the Search Party came in with no luck, one officer confronted the mother, "Ma'am, we tried to continue, but the rain is washing away the scent for the dogs...I'm sorry...we got as far as the 3 miles away from the waterfall..."
The mother buried her face into her husband as he nodded them off as the mother cries, the father spoke up, "Abigail has never traveled that far before from home...and North...where is she going north?"
The mother then paused and gasped thinking she then spoke up, "John....I think I know where she is going...."
"W-What?" The father said, stuttering.
"Abigail called us before the storm, remember? She was telling us Lilly.....was..."
"Calli, I remember," the father said, confused, "But what does this have to do with..."
He then pauses as they both said in unison, "THE CABIN!!"
"The storm didn't hit there yet, and she is gonna seek shelter and food there!" the father said as they both get up.
They rushed over to the rescue man, the mother spoke up, "Sir, sir!"
He looks back and noticed the urgency, "W-what is it?"
The father spoke up, "I think we know where she is heading to... right on the Northern boarder of Texas up here, is my wife's grandfather's cabin, I think our Abigail is heading there!"
"I-I'm sorry, the rescue team is on power down due to the storm," the man said, apologetically.
The mother then snapped, "And you said we can give you a lead to let you know where our own daughter was heading, well we have one, and you need to do your job and get our only daughter back! If we need to hunt for her ourselves, we will...I won't stop until I get my daughter back in my arms..."
The man raised a brow as he looked back at the father; the father's hands were up in the air walking very slowly and very small steps backwards. The man hesitated then got out his radio, "Hey we got a location of the missing girl, we might have a location at an old cabin in between the Texas boarder, look for an old log cabin."
As then the man ran to the truck as the woman and father followed behind, wanting to come with, the man in the truck about said to get some rest, but the mother seemed to ticked about earlier, he was afraid of what she'll do. They both hopped in and were off, sliding the doors closed and sirens rang in the city, quickly rushing to the highway.
