Paul Kirkland would do anything to be recognized as a real country. It hurts him that Oliver abandoned him after he found no use for him. He acts cold or aggressive towards other people, but only because he fears they'll abandon him like 2p England did. Unlike 1p Sealand, who just wants to be a country because of the power to beat his brother, Paul just wants to get back the big brother relationship he had with Oliver, and hopes being a country will make him seem worthy enough for Oliver to pay attention to him.
