i can see the fury in you
in the flickers of your eyes
it's eating you alive
tearing you apart
it dominates you
the war going on inside of you is agonizing
it's an unrelenting battle between your head and your heart
your skin is turning black and blue
your eyes bloodshot
with desperation leaking from them and staining your shirt
your heart is trying to break free
i can tell from the wild look in your stormy eyes
you beg for some control
for something to grab onto to pull yourself back up
but you're falling into the darkness
don't you see that the only way to make it out alive is to let go?
let go of the fear and the anger
let your heart win
it knows what it's doing
