I pull up to school on time...with time to spare. I park and lock my car as I walk into the wide hallway. No eyes are on me...this was the way I liked it. I make my way to my locker. I stand there and wait. Normally I would stay here and wait for Amanda. We'd walk to first period together. I'm not sure if we are still friends. If she found my shoe there...she would have known I was there...then she would hate me...either way. I held my bag tight...my single shoe was inside my bag. I brought it today...because I think I want to tell John it was me...I dunno... maybe I'll wait. A few minutes pass by before I see her walking down the hall towards me. Eyes narrowed. And lips plump. She stops right in front of me. Her eyes locked into mine. We exchange no words...but it felt like we were holding a conversation. The bell then rung. She tossed her hair over her shoulder and headed into the direction of class. I stood there...watching her as she stopped and looked back at me.

"T? You coming?" She asked with a smile. I smiled, too.

"Yeah." I follow after her into our first period. Annabelle was also in this class. I hurry over to her and sit. Her eyes lit up when she saw me.

"Spill. Tell me everything about you and...." She whispered," John."

"Later. Right now I'm more concerned with what's going on with Woody and you. Did you guys talk at all?" I raised one eyebrow as I smirked at her. She burned red as she frowned. Mrs. James started writing math problems on the board like a maniac. Anna and I succeed at copying the problems down and solving.

"No. I chickened out. I didn't say a word to him." She sighed as she answered problem 12 on her paper. I give her one of those surprise hugs...the ones she gives me. Making her drop her pencil to hug me back.

        "I'm sorry." I sighed.

"Oh...it's fine. It was my fault for chickening out. Not yours." She winced. Mrs. James cleared her throat at us. We quickly stopped hugging and continued with our work.

"But thanks....you're such a great friend." Anna sighed as she continued solving the equations. Anna called me a great friend. I smiled pretty widely. It felt nice to know she was my friend, now. I have a lot of friends, but Amanda and sometimes Woody, were the only close friends I had....now I have Anna. I feel so ecstatic. I continue working on the problems, when I feel a tug on my hair. I turn around and see Amanda. I kinda blocked her out as I was talking to Anna so I understood her jealousy.

"What?" I whisper to her. She didn't answer. She just glared at me, then back down to her paper. I felt a sense of awkwardness....and guilt. I had yet to admit to her about John and I....ya know. What happened at the party. Though I'm unsure of many things. Like if I'm gonna tell him that it was me. I can't read him like everyone else. Accessing him is harder now...30 minutes pass before the bell rings. Amanda leaves in a puff. Not saying a word to me. Then Anna agreed to walk me halfway...since our classes were i opposite directions. After we parted ways I walked alone to my class, before bumping into John...who had a goofy smile on his face as he hugged me. I hugged him tight, too.

"We're still on for after school?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yes. I took the day off, just so we could study." I sighed. He smiled.

"Cool." He laughed as he walked away. I walked into my class and took my seat. I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw....Kara. Kara Miller. She was the football coach's beautiful daughter. She smiled at me.

        "Hi, Kara..." I sighed.

"Hi, Tea. I need your assistance." She stretched her face. I smiled at her.
