"Kira made copies of the book." Scott says, while throwing them on the table. "Everyone needs to read it, to know if the Dread Doctors did anything to one of us."

We all nod and take a book. Derek, Lydia, Malia, Scott, Stiles, Liam, Theo, Kira and I. I read the back cover out loud.

"In a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive. Days later they emerge transformed wreaking havoc and spreading terror, commanded by an ancient order of parascientists known only as the Dread Doctors." I end quietly.

"That sounds... terrifying" Liam says.

"Only a little," Stiles huffs. "I suggest we start reading." We all nod in response and look for a comfortable place to read.

I walk to the couch and start reading. It's a weird book, the storyline is pretty vague.. As if she knew what Judy was thinking, Amy keened and hissed a challenge. Her jaw extended impossibly low, revealing rows of deadly fangs. With a roar, Amy charged her friend. Judy swung the bat as hard as she could and connected with the side of Amy's head. The creature went down, but was up again before Judy could react. In an instant the bat was out of her hands and clattering at her feet. Amy swiped her taloned hands, ripping Judy's shirt and the skin beneath.
I let out a shaky breath. This definitely wasn't a book that I would choose, it was horrifying. I feel the couch sinking in next to me, I look up and sigh. Peter Hale. Damn, why does he look so good?

He's also reading, but not about the Dread Doctors. I look at the cover. "To kill a mockingbird" I read out loud and smile at him. Still trying to be nice, or maybe trying to change his behavior. "Good book?"

He hums. "Better than yours, for sure. I'm not a science-fiction kind of guy." He smirks.

I sigh. "Can't you just help us?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.

"Why would I want to help a few hormonal narcissistic teenagers?" He says, not looking up.

"Because otherwise we're all going to die." I say.

"Like I care." He says bluntly.

My heart sank. Did he really not care? "Jesus, Peter! We're narcissistic, take a look at yourself! I wonder why no one likes you..." I say sarcastically. Then I stand up and walk out the door.

"Luna!" Scott shouts. But I'm already downstairs. He turns to Peter. "What did you say to her?"

Peter shrugs, not answering him.

I run outside, hoping no one would follow me, and they didn't. I start crying. How did I mistook Peter so badly? He was so sweet the last couple of weeks. I sigh and walk further.

I get carried by someone. Where are we? Pipes. Pipes, at the entrance and on the walls. Where have I seen these pipes before?

I gasp and look around. No one is there. What the hell? I started to remember something, because of the book.

I'm on an operating table, but not in the hospital. It looks like a basement. There are three of them and one is holding me. They almost look the same as on the cover of the book.

I start to run, I don't know why, as if I'm trying to run away from my thoughts.

They take out a needle and all look at me. They stick it in me, I scream
out of pain. "Hey, stop. What are you doing to me.." I say with a tired voice.
They don't stop. "Your condition improves"  I can hear them say. "What do you mean? What does that mean?" I shout.

I open my eyes, I didn't even realize I'd closed. I'm one of them. I'm one of the Chimera's. I take out my phone and call Scott.

"Scott!" I shout as he picks up. I'm breathing heavily. The world around me starts to spin.

"Luna? What's wrong?" Scott's worried voice sounds.

"I-I am one of the Chimera's." I say. But then I hear something behind me.

"Condition terminal, Failure" They repeat. I turn around and see the Dread Doctors coming at me.

"Luna? Are you still there?" Scott asks, who probably heard that too.

I drop my phone as they put a needle in my neck. Failure. My eyes fill up with mercury and then...

|Nobody's POV|

Scott drops his phone, breath hitching. It feels like his lungs are pinched closed. He gasps for breath, but his lungs won't fill up. He sinks down against the wall.

"Scott?" Stiles rushes to him. "Scott, what is happening?"

"I-I think I'm having an asthma attack." Scott manages to bring out between gasps. "I can't- I can't breathe"

Stiles says. "Where's your inhaler?"

Scott doesn't answer him. He can't talk properly, he is out of breath.

Theo runs towards them. "Here, use mine" He throws it at Scott, who catches it and uses it.

He breaths out slowly. "Why was I having an asthma attack? I'm a werewolf.."

"You were having a panic attack, but you thought it was an asthma attack. And because you used your inhaler, you made the panic attack go away." He said fast. Everyone looked at him, frowning, not understanding anything of what he just said. But the look on Stiles' face told us he didn't understand it either.

"Why did you have a panic attack, anyways?" Liam asks concerned.

"Luna..." Scott answers and tears roll down his cheeks. He stands up. "She... She's gone."

"What do you mean she's gone?" Derek frowns and takes a step closer.

"She was one of the chimeras, she called me because she found out. But then-" Scott sobs. "I heard someone saying that her 'condition' was 'terminal' and that she was a 'failure'. Then she stopped answering me." Scott cries.

"We don't know for sure she's dead.. We have to look for her." Lydia tries, not believing she's dead.

Peter stands up and huffs. "Do you even know what 'terminal' means? It means 'deadly', 'fatal'. She's dead." He says bluntly. His heart sank while hearing his own words, she's dead.

Derek shot him a look and walked up to Peter. He grabbed him by his collar and asked, "What did you say to her? She left because of you!" Peter shakes his head. "You egoistic fuck! You really don't care about anyone but yourself." Derek lets go and huffs.

Peter sighs and walks upstairs. They didn't know. They didn't know how much he actually liked her. From the first day, she'd caught his attention. He instantly fell in love with her. How could he not? Her beautiful appearances, her long straight brown hair and her light brown eyes.

But he couldn't let her get hurt. So he pushed her away, as far as he could. If she hated him, it would make it much easier to keep her safe. But now she's gone. Tears rush down his face as he punches against the wall. Pain.

He runs downstairs and ignores all the teenagers. They ask where he's going. He doesn't know either. He runs outside. She can't be gone. Pain.

He sniffs in the air and catches her sweet scent. Tears fill up his eyes as he follows it. Then he sees a body laying on the road. "Luna" He whispers and runs at her. He kneels next to her and caresses her face. There is mercury on the corners of her mouth and in her eyes. She still looks beautiful. He checks her pulse. Dead. Pain.

He takes her body in his arms and holds her close. This is the closest he will ever get to her. He cries and kisses her forehead. "Luna..." He cries out. Pain.

"I'm so sorry... It's my fault.. I-Forgive me.." He murmurs crying. "I love you" He whispers, but he knows she'll never know. Pain.

He looks up and sees Parrish walking to them. Parrish stands before him. Peter kisses her head once more and hands her over to Parrish. He watches as her carries her away. He'll never see Luna again. Pain. Too much pain.

Noooo, Luna died... I found it perfect for Peter to expose his feelings for her after she'd died. It just seems... fitting.. Anyway, comment and vote please!
