Luna slowly opens her eyes and gets used to the sunlight. The first thing she feels are two strong arms hugging her tightly. She blinks and looks up to see Peter's face. 'Is this a dream?' Is the first thing that comes to mind.

"Hey baby," Peter says, looking down at her. Memories of last night flood into her mind. Peter held her in his arms again for the first time in 9 months.

"Goodmorning," Luna smiles slightly. "Have you been up all night?"

Peter nods. He was. He was just watching Luna, and thinking about the decisions he made.

A silence stretches between them. Peter swallows, tears form in his eyes. "I'm sorry," He starts. "I never should've left you and our baby, I'll regret that forever. I was being selfish, like I always am, and to be honest, I was scared. I was scared to be a father, and because I was so selfish, you had to suffer. I don't know if I'll ever forgive myself."

Luna sits up and straddles Peter. "Well, I forgive you. Peter, you're the least selfish person I know, okay? There's no need to think like that."

Peter nods, but avoids looking Luna in the eyes. "Hey," Luna says, grabbing Peter's chin. "Look at me."

Peter's blue eyes finally connect with Luna's. "You wouldn't have ruined my life, baby," She smiles.

"You're eighteen, Luna. Did you really want a baby?" Peter asks softly.

"At first I didn't. But it was yours, that's why I wanted to keep it," Luna smiles, "You would've been a great father."

"No, I wouldn't," Peter denies and shakes his head.

"I know you better than you know yourself, and whatever people might say about you, you're the most loving person I know, and I know you would've loved the child with your whole heart," Luna tried to convince him.

Peter tried to turn his head away, but Luna kissed him. "No discussion." Peter shut up and nodded. Luna kissed him again and then got off the bed. She pulled Peter with her downstairs to have breakfast. Scott and Melissa were both not home.

"Sit down," Luna demanded, and Peter did so. If it were someone else to ask, he wouldn't have done it. He sat down and watched Luna make their breakfast.

It shouldn't have been Luna comforting Peter, but the other way around. Luna lost her baby, and from what Peter had heard from her dad, she didn't leave her room for two weeks.

"Are you okay?" Peter asks softly.

If it were someone else to ask, the answer would automatically have been 'Yes'. Luna hesitates and doesn't answer.

Peter stands up and walks over to Luna. "Babygirl," He puts his hand on her shoulder.

She shivers underneath his touch. Suddenly her hands are shaking and tears are falling onto the kitchen counter. She closes her eyes and breaths in.

Peter takes the spatula from her hand and pulls her into his arms. Luna breaks down and bursts out in tears. Peter's heart aches. He hates to see her like this.

Luna squeezes Peter's torso and fists his shirt. She'd held back the tears for two weeks, until Peter came walking back into her life. Her wall of emotions crumbled the moment she saw him again.

"It's okay baby, let it out," He whispers and kisses her head. Peter picks her up bridal style and sits down on the couch, Luna curled up in his lap. After ten minutes, she stopped crying and fell asleep.

The girl in his arms had gone through too much for a girl her age. She deserved happiness, love. Peter now knew that he wanted to be the one to give it to her.

He gets up, without waking Luna in the process, and walks towards the kitchen. He cleans up, they can get something later. Suddenly he hears someone coming in. He looks up.

"Peter," A surprised Melissa states.

Peter waves awkwardly and then smiles, "I was just cleaning up your kitchen, not plundering it, Mrs McCall."

Melissa smiles and nods. "That's okay, and please call me Melissa, we have been on a.. date before."

Peter chuckles and nods. "Luna is on the couch, sleeping. We made up last night," He smiles.

"That's nice," Melissa says. "You have changed a lot since that date, Peter. You are a better man."

"Thank you." Peter says awkwardly. He didn't really need to be remembered of the date with the mother of his girlfriend.

"I mean it. You would've been a great father," Melissa says.

Peter looks down and shakes his head no. "I used to be a serial killer, I hurt so many people, including your daughter."

"You're right. You used to be. But that's in the past, and I can see the man before me, and that's not a serial killer. It's just a man who loves someone so much he doesn't know what to do."

Peter sighs and nods. She's right. "You're right. I don't know what to do. "

"Listen, Peter, I'm gonna let you in on a secret that most guys don't even have a clue about, all right? You ready? Women love words."

"Hmm?" Peter hums.

"You need to tell her how you feel. Just say it. Say it again. Say it differently. Learn how to say it better. Learn how to sing it. You know, just write it in a poem and a letter attached to flowers. Carve it in a tree, in a sidewalk in wet cement, tattoo on your arm." Melissa finishes.

"Tattoos fade away because I'm a werewolf."

"God! You know what my point is." Melissa groans.

Peter smiles widely. "Yes, thank you, Melissa."

She smiles and turns around to go upstairs. Peter heads back to the living room where Luna is still sleeping. He watches her. Yeah, he is definitely in love with her and he knows a way to show her how much.
