I pulled up and for once I was the last one there. Everyone was already conversating and there seemed to be less cocky remarks than I thought. There had to be about 25ish people, which in my eyes was too many to be functional. Kells walked up and stood next to me.
"We both have some good racers but this would be to big of a clan. We're gonna have to kick some people," he said it low probably so no one would hear. "Also we should bring this to my shop so you know the full deal," he looked down at me and smirked.
I didn't change my facial expression, this was all business. Or at least that's what I wanted to tell myself. Quin looked at me and I gave him a signal to follow me. He told the guys and my clan all got in there cars. I smirked since my guys were on their best behavior and Kells guys were still getting in their cars.
We followed them for a while, his shop was on the complete other side on town from the warehouse, and to be truthful it was smaller. They had a few stalls which held only a few of his guys cars, which only commonsense would say that was the good cars. While at the warehouse we had room for everyones cars. They had two hoists, while at the warehouse we have four. Although other than that they had more equipment than us especially for tires, which we needed.
When I thought about it, it would make a lot more sense to have the warehouse be our spot and just have them add their equipment.
"So what do you think?" Just by his facial expression I could tell that he thought he had totally won us over.
"I have an idea, more of a make or break deal. You guys have a lot of equipment that we don't have," he started to do his classic smirked but I kept going, "but we have waaayyy more room at the warehouse and we have more hoists. I think we should move all of your stuff to our warehouse, then we'll have more room and still be able to fit everyone's cars in and have all six hoists inside."
His jaw started to tense up and and he raised an eyebrow while he looked at the ground considering the deal. He crossed his arms after a few seconds. "Let me talk to em,"
I walked over to my crew and told them what had happened so far, they got a little mad at the having to kick people part but other than that they agreed.
Kells interrupted our discussion, "So we've decided to combine, how about your guys?"
"Yeah us too," I said.
"So who the hell is leader then?" I got cut off by someone.
There was some silence as I thought. I didn't even take that into consideration. Then a man a few inches taller than me with neck tattoos and green eyes with brown hair stepped in. "Why not both of you. Having a clan with with two leaders are unheard of. Let alone havin a guy and a girl at the same time. Plus when Kells is on tour everyone can still race and there will still be a leader." Tour? Wait. Machine Gun Kelly. MGK. I'm a fucking dumbass, I knew that name sounded familiar.
Mostly everyone agreed, "So I guess that's final. Now what about the name?" Kells asked.
"I've been thinking about Empire and... hold on," I ran to my car and grabbed a piece of paper and the first pen that I could find. I roughly drew what our new sign would be but when I went to get out he was right at my door. I handed him the paper, "It's a combination of both of our old signs. I figured it'd be easier for everyone who has a tattoo then you can just add the other to it."
"Not gonna lie that's a good ass idea. Alright you dickheads now we gotta-,"
"Wait!" I cut him off. I turned to him and talked quite so no one could hear me, "This might be a bitch move but what if we kick people after we get everything moved to the warehouse. We'll have double the workers and it'll take less time."
He stood there for a second debating the idea, it was already for the most part dark out so I just really wanted to get this over with. "But then they'd know the ins and outs of the place and if the they switched clans then they'd have the upper hand on us."
"Well I'm sure you already know your strongest racers and your weaker ones just like I do. So we'd just have the ones that we're planning on kicking, doing all the work over here and driving the stuff to the warehouse but not helping on the inside."
"Damn smart and hot," he said even quieter and smiled at me then starred at my lips.
I stood on the edge of the floor in my car so I was a few inches taller then him and people would pay attention to me. "Okay guys go home and meet here in the morning, we're gonna start moving shit right away. And if you got work then get your ass here right after. I don't care if your our best racers or not, if you ain't here tomorrow then I don't expect to see you again."
I hopped down and he was still staring at me. "You got a problem pretty boy," I started RC and shut the door.
"Yeah," he crouched down a bit. "It's gonna be hard getting shit down with your pretty ass around."
"Oh don't you start with that shit, in the end my ass will be too fuckin crazy for you anyways," I drove off. It's not that I didn't think he wasn't cute but he doesn't know shit about me and I don't know shit about him. I have too much history that still lingers and comes at me again from time to time and no one needs to know me like that.
