"Your name is Darren Bishop."
Tamel looked at the man in front of him like he was crazy.
"I'm your father, Claude Bishop," the man introduced himself. "Remember? Don't tell me you forget the original Mack Daddy."
Tamel still looked puzzled but remembered meeting his father that day before he met up with...with...
"Come on, Train, snap out of it, Carmel smiled while she snapped her fingers.
"And who's that?" Tamel asked.
"Now you really playing," Carmel laughed. "It's me, Carmel. You forgot me too?"
"You're not Carmel," Tamel quickly stated. "I shot Carmel in the face and since you don't have a bullet hole in your eye socket, you're not her."
"Damn, that's cold," Carmel laughed. "But that's crazy because you wouldn't shoot me, Train. We're like fam."
Tamel shook his head. "Stop calling me Train. I'm not Train. I'm Drama. Where is Train?"
Claude put his hands back on Tamel's shoulder. "You are Train, Darren."
Tamel put his hands up and brushed Claude's hands off his shoulders. "Listen, I don't know what kind of game you're running. But my name is Tamel Richards. I shot that bitch Carmel in the face so I don't know who this imposter is. Also as far as you being my Pops, I remember seeing some photo saying that you were alive but when I went to find you..."
"I am alive and so are you, Darren," Claude smiled.
"Stop calling me my brother's name," Tamel insisted. "You're going to tell me where I'm at. Why am I hooked up like this? Why you insisting on calling my brother's name? Why is this bitch? And why my head hurts like nails are driving through them and most importantly can you turn off that goddamn beeping machine?"
Claude complied with the last order and hit a switch on the monitor that was next to him. The beeping noise stopped.
"As for your other questions," Claude said. "You are safe. You had somewhat of an accident and were in coma for a while. Those monitors were what was keeping you alive. And I'm not calling you your brother's name. I'm calling you your name. And the reason your head hurts is because you were shot in it."
Tamel started to slowly reach up and feel his face. The right side of his face felt lumpy like it was distorted. Then he felt the huge bandage gauze covering his head.
"What happened?" Tamel asked. "I remember...I remember,,,"
Tamel remembered being shot. He was shot. First he was shot by that bitch Charmaine. Then he was shot again by someone else, yes, shot again by someone else. Charmaine had set him up. Tamel remembered Charmaine setting him up.
"Where's Charmaine?" Tamel asked.
"You remember Charmaine?" Carmel perked up.
"Yes, she shot me," Tamel recalled.
"No, Charmaine would never shot you," Carmel clarified. "She would never..."
Tamel felt his head again. "Yes, she did and then she set me up to..."
Carmel looked at him puzzled. "To what?"
Tamel felt his head again. "Get shot."
"Like I said, Charmaine would never shot you," Carmel repeated. "She's in love with your dumb ass, Train."
