Tamel screamed in pain again as another bullet entered his shoulder.
Kenod laughed at Tamel's agony.
"What the fuck is this? Target practice?" Kenod's brother huffed. "Just shoot the bastard."
"I will," Kenod smiled menacingly. "But I want to hear some more jokes from Mister Funny Man while I pump holes in his brother."
"Why?" Train asked. "You miss pumping holes in your brothers? Who was your favorite? I bet you it was the one with the cornrows, right? He looked like a bitch. I can see you and him having late night tickle fights when Daddy was away."
Kenod smiled again. "Keep it up."
Kenod aimed at Tamel's knee caps. "Don't take this personal but your brother is an asshole."
Tamel cried in pain as he was shot in the right knee.
"You got any more words, Mister Funny Man?" Kenod inquired.
"You putting on a big show with niggas tied down," Train remarked. "Why not try that gangster shit with my hands free? You're just like your bitch ass brothers, you're soft."
Kenod pointed the gun at Train. "Yeah, you think I'm soft.'
"Yeah," Train spat. "Softer than doggy shit that landed on your dick after you fucked your first poodle. So let's get the shit over with or do you have that suck that nigga over there dick to get the approval. "
Kenod was tired of Train's mouth. Kenod pressed his weapon back at Train's head.
Train smiled and closed his eyes.
"That's enough," Train heard the other voice in the room say.
Train felt the gun leave his skull again.
"Tops, I know we made a deal but..." Kenod wanted to kill Train himself.
"No buts," the man named Tops said and shook his head. "It's over. Put his brother out of his misery."
Tamel was breathing hard as he looked at Train. He knew this was truly the end. There was no escaping this one. It was truly over.
Train just smiled at his brother and winked.
Tops was about to say something when his cell phone rung in his pocket. Tops was a very personal man that didn't give his number to a lot of people. Only his inner circle had that direct line and the number calling him wasn't from any associate he knew. That could only mean...
"Top, you know who this is, yes" the caller immediately said as soon as Top put his ear to the phone and put a finger up to quiet Kenod.
"I think I do but..." Tops didn't get to finish his sentence before the caller continued by saying "You have something I want. So let's not bullshit each other. I come with an offer from Envy and you know what will happen if you reject an offer from Envy."
"I'm listening," Tops said.
"Good, let's talk" the caller replied. "You are in possession of someone very important to Miss Envy and she will stop at great lengths to get that person back."
"How do you even know I..." Tops was trying to find out how much the person knew.
"You starting to bullshit me again," the caller huffed. "Listen Miss Envy wants what you took and in return you will receive her thanks. And we all know what that can mean in the long run. You want to be on the Board of Directors?"
