Are You Sure??

I have great friends from back at home that I promised to stay in touch with.  So I decide to give them a call. My besties Carly, Tia and Ed go to Yale university so I call them.

Ally: hey guys how are you.

Tia: OMG!!! Ally how are you.

Ally: good how are you.

Carly: OMG we are great, I heard and saw on IG that you moved to LA

Ally: yeah I did and I'm staying with Courtney and Bella

Ed: Allison Delphi id that you!

Ally: I miss you guys so much, oh wait my boyfriends calling I'll call him back later.

Tia: wait Ally you've been in LA for like one month and you already have a boyfriend. 

Carly: well yeah she's like the hottest thing on the market.

Ally: guys stop, no really his name is Zach and he's amazing, he is talented, funny, sweet, romantic, adventurous, spontaneous, and use amazing to talk to.

Ed: you know Ivan was disappointed when you didn't go to collage in Massachusetts like you guys had talked about.

Ally: well Ed we have been over this I gave up on that dream of going to fashion school in Massachusetts a long time ago. Also Ivan is going to MIT do you think I would have a lot of fun hanging out with all of his extra start goody too shoos friends. Nope I'm an artist I want to do something with my life besides sitting behind a sewing machine. 

Ed: I know I know but he's not going to be very happy when he finds out that you dumped him, moved to LA and started dating they Zach Herron

Carly: wait your dating Zach herron 

Tia: wait Zach from that boy band?

Ally: yeah why??

Carly: Ally you need to get out of that relationship quick.

Ally: wait why

Tia: Ally he's bad news, he has had some public drama with his ex and there were rumors about a baby and more stuff like that. Sorry to burst your bubble but you might want to ask him or look at some of the twitter drama from eight months ago.

Ally: umm ok but the media will make up anything. and it was eight months ago

Ed: Ally even I heard about this guy be cautious.

Carly: do your parents know about him

My parents were very busy people but always had time for me. They were very protective of me and my sisters. My mom actually knows a lot of celebrities, she's an interior designer and has designed Beyonce's house and the Kardashians, etc. Your dad is also a big business man, he likes to come up with ways to help people through technology. He loves his kids and has a great way with words. My friends know how protective my parents are because when they didn't want to tell their own parents what was going on they would come and talk to yours. Middle and high school were very hard on some of my friends so they really had to be more hands on parents, some of my friends even called them the superhero parents. 

Ally: no they don't know but I'm sure they would be fine with it.

Tia: Ally I would give them a call just to let them know.

Ed: Hey yeah and we are planning on coming to see you in a few weeks.

Ally: ok

Carly: are you sure that they will be ok with them, you remember the whole thing with Trever and I right.

Ally: how could I forget so many people were coming in and out of my house to talk to my parents I thought we had opened  a therapy company.

Ed: yeah well all we are saying is that you should tell them soon.

Ally: ok thanks guys see you soon.

next thing I know I see a text from Zach. It says to meet him at his house, so I get in the car and start driving. About 10 minutes into the drive,( because Zach and I unfortunately live 30 minutes away with traffic) I get a call from my mom. It kinda ticks me off because either my friends told her about Zach or they told her to call me which then meant I would have to talk about Zach.

Ally: hey mom how are you.

I had been calling my mom almost everyday since I got here, I know she's a busy women but you would think after leaving all those messages she would get back to you.

Mom: I'm good how are you.

Ally: great I have had the best couple of months so far. 

Mom: your friends told me about this boy that you have been hanging out with, please tell me that you're nothing more than friends.

Ally: umm well we have gone out a few times and we are kinda dating.

Mom: oh ok how serious are you 

Ally: pretty serious I mean I've been to his house and his work place and stuff. But he is super sweet, considerate, talented, independent, a complete gentle man and I've never been happier with anyone else. 

Mom: HIS HOUSE are you kidding me I didn't let you go to LA BY YOURSELF so you go off and sleep around. I let you go out there to further your career. 

Ally: are you being serious right now, I am not sleeping around, also I am furthering my Career, I have been featured on two magazine covers and have been in posters that will be seen all around the country. 

Mom: I can't believe I trusted you Allison Marie Delphi you're coming home this instant.

Ally: And what exactly would I do back home, when I decided to leave we had a discussion that it was best for me, I am not a little girl anymore I have out grown GR and now I'm on to bigger and better things. I can't and I won't go back. 

Mom: you know I can't make you but your friends said...

I interrupt her. Ally: MY FRIENDS are you kidding me mom you were more of a mother to them then you are to me. Do you know how many times I have tried to talk to yo in the past three months? look at your phone right now. 

Mom: ok it says four missed calls.

Ally: yeah now look at the history past this week.

Mom: 32 calls Ally I'm so sorry.

Ally: yeah mom so don't think that I have been rooming around like some irresponsible kid.

Mom: Allison I'm just not in a place where I can be ok with this, I mean are you sue about this, Are you sure that he's all that you say he is, are you even sure that he truly cares about you? also Are you sure that you've never been happier with anyone else... I mean do you remember Ivan?....
