Walking the busy streets of... uh, I'm not to sure. I never found out where I am. Matter of fact I don't even know where the apartment was. So at the moment I was wandering aimlessly.

Well on the bright side I found the academy. It was pretty big, but I didn't know what to do now. The key only had a number attached to it, so I knew what room number it is.

At last I came to the decision, I was just going to sleep in a tree. The tree was right outside of the academy. I climbed the tree and soundly fell asleep.

~

Awakening from my comfy resting place. I looked at the sky, about five in the morning. The normal time for me to wake up. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and, flawlessly, jumped out of the tree.

As I readjusted the scythe on my back. I walked around to the back of the school, the training ground, and practiced my scythe technique.

Eyes flickering different colors as I surrounded the weapon in the element of my choice. The time had flown by. A bell rang, signaling student to get to class. I ran around to the front of the building, not missing a beat in pace.

There was a man waiting outside, probably waiting for me. I ran to him and slid to stop.

"Hi, Hailey Yuki is the name!" I held out my hand with a wide smile. He shook my hand and smiled.

"I am Iruka, I am your homeroom teacher." I only smiled, hinting him to go on. "Follow me to your classroom."

I followed the man down one of the school's hallways. He slid open a door and walked in front of the class, me tailing from behind.

"Everyone meet our new student, Hailey Yuki." He gently pushed me forward, urging me to introduce myself.

"My name is Hailey Yuki! Any questions?" I enthused with a smile, making a couple boys blush. A couple people raised their hands up. I pointed to a boy with a puppy on his head.

"What is on your back?" Puppy boy asked, pointing to my scythe. I reached for my back and pulled the scythe off. It was mainly black, hints of purple here and there.

"It is my weapon of choice, a scythe!" I enthused as I placed the weapon in its rightful place upon my back. I had now noticed that the blonde haired boy, who I ran into, was in this class. I pointed to a girl with a long blonde ponytail.

"What is on your neck?" I tilted my head to the side, ignoring that question. I pointed to a boy with pineapple shaped hair.

"How long have you been in the village for?" I smiled and looked at him.

"Less that 24 hours ago, I arrived." Iruka placed a hand upon my shoulder.

"Alright, thank you Hailey. You can have a seat next to Sasuke." Iruka pointed to a seat next to a raven haired boy.  I walked there and sat in the seat, sending Sasuke a closed eyed smile. Which he just brushed off.

My eyes filled with water and I quickly blinked them out.

~~~
"Alright, thank you Hailey. You can have a seat next to Sasuke." Iruka pointed to the seat next to me. She walked over and sat in the seat, 'great another fangirl'.  She shot me a smile. I pretend to ignore her and continue watching the lesson.
One thing caught my eye. It looked as if she was going to cry, I hope I didn't make her upset.
~
The bell came quickly, Hailey stood up and jumped out the window. I just walked out the door, fangirls everywhere. I pushed through them all and walked out the door.
I was about to return to the Uchiha grounds when I saw Hailey in the training grounds.
I watched her and somewhat enjoyment. Everytime she swung her weapon, hitting the target with the such precision. I was starting to wonder if she had any battle experience.
To be this good she must of had some sort of experience. A ANBU jumped in front of her. Saying something I couldn't pick up. After she returned her scythe she walked away. But before she was gone she spoke.
"Thanks for keeping me company, Uchiha!" With a smile she started to run.
~~~~

I felt a presence watching me, brushing it off I decided to just keep training. A ninja in a mask jumped in front of me.

"Hokage has requested to see you." I nodded and put he scythe on my back. I started to walk away, but before I did I spoke.

"Thanks for keeping me company, Uchiha!" I smiled and started to run towards Gramp's tower. I knew his last name was Uchiha because I went through his memories.

When? Well when I first sat next to him, that smile was just a cover up so he didn't see my eyes change. That's when I used my Memory Dragon skills and sorted through some memories, including his family's massacre.

That simple memory almost put me in tears, it somehow reminded me of my adoptive mother, Atlas. The thing was that I watched her die, hunters got to her, before I could save her.

I approached the tower and climbed up the window. Why? Because I am as normal as a person can get.

"Heya gramps!" I greeted with a smile, inside the office was only Gramps, no other ninjas, weird.

"Greetings, Hailey." I nodded in respect and walked to the front of the desk. "How is your stay so far?"

"Well, let's see, I had no idea where my apartment was, I slept in a tree. It was comfy no doubt. The first day of the academy was pretty good." I stated with a smile, leaving out the memory part.

"Oh, I am sorry to hear that, I will have an anbu escort you to your apartment today." Gramps expressed with gratitude. I nodded in agreement. "Now, I am going to teach you a little about chakra."

He stood up and walked over to me. "Let's start with learning the hand signs."

I nodded in excitement as we began to go over the signs.
