The One And Only Reaper! (Fairytail X Naruto)

Chapter 19

"You should be grateful, that was meant for you." With that said our enemy had disappeared. I moved my concern over to Hailey.

Her body laid limp on the ground, I looked around for Naruto. "Naruto, are you awake!?"

No response, look like it is just me this time. I carried Hailey, bridal style and went over to Naruto, slung him across my back.

Now to find somewhere to hide out, hopefully only for a night.

I walked the forest with my two passed out teammates. Searching for some kind of camp. I came across a hollowed out tree, then placed my two squad members on the ground.

I guess a little bi- what was that, my eyes darted around the forest. A little squirrel came running towards us. I threw a kunai in front of it, it stopped and turned around.

Where the hell am I? It's so dark and what is this I'm feeling? Pain. That's what I am feeling. It feels as though my body is on fire, searing pain came from my neck.

"How are you doing?" I looked around for the source of the voice. It sounded so familiar yet, in the same way so distant. I scanned the darkness, a women with lilac hair and eyes. Tears sprung to my eyes. 

"Mom?" Cursing myself for stuttering. I pushed myself from the floor, making myself sand up.

"Thats me." The women giggled, the giggle I remember so foundly. 

"How are you even here?" I questioned the women who brought me into this world. 

"Before I died I emplaced a seal into your body, and now it seems something is trying to rid of the seal." She spoke, her voice was laced in sweetness, something I had always envied of my mother. 

"I see, so he must of placed some kind of seal on my neck..." I pondered to myself on what Orochimaru had done to my neck, besides the fact the he gave me a hickey.

"Who did that? I feel as though, hm, something is off." Her smile faltered and turned to concern. 

"Um, besides the fact that I might be in a different dimension. Yah I am doing great!" She regained her smile and laugh off the concern.

"So, has my daughter found a special someone?" I think she was trying to wink but, she was trying to hard... way to hard. 

"Pfft, we both know I don't have those kind of feelings. Remember the whole Aromatic and Asexual thing." Then it hit me, that was with Atlas. Not my actual mother.

"Your what!? But I wanted grandbabies!" She anime cried, sobbed? Honestly I really wish she was around longer, and not murdered in front of me. 

"Anyway... do you know how I can get out of here? I kinda just left my team to fend for themselves, and without me they are doomed." What? I am only speaking the obvious truth.

"You truly are my daughter, Hailey. Yes, to answer your question you only have another minute or so before your body recovers."

And on cue a small white light appeared in the distance, so this is my leave. "See ya around, eh?" 

Her smile was as if she lived a thousand years, somehow I don't think I will be seeing her again or, at least not for a while. 

I waved as I stepped into the light, bursting up I saw fighting, about a normal day. Well Uchiha was fighting, Naruto was passed out besides me. I had also noticed Green Bean was here, good god someone send help.

I shot up to my feet, ignoring the searing pain in my neck. I grabbed my scythe that had been leaned up against a tree. 

Quickly I joined the fight, analyzing the situation I noticed that Uchiha was in the mits of trying to break someones arm. 

I quickly jumped behind him, grabbing his shoulders. I felt his body tense up, just now realizing I was awake again. 

"No need to kill, that is not something you should do. Thats my job, no need to follow my path." I said the last part quitely, not sure if he had heard it or not.

He let go of the guy's arm, and without another word the enemy retreated. I had now realized we were fighting the same guy who messed with my hearing. 

"Anyway, thank you for your help." I turned to the Hyuga, green bean, and what I assume is their other teammate. My sweet, bubbly smile taking its place across my face. "Took me a little to get my head in the game."

"Yes, we will take our leave now." The Hyuga looked towards his team. "Lee, Tenten, let's go."

The brunette is Tenten, Greenbean is Lee. All I need is the Hyuga's name. Before I could ask the three of them jumped and disappeared into the shadow of the trees. 

I took a minute to embrace the surroundings, apparently a big fight had gone down. Unfortunately I was unconscious during the smack down. 

"I will tend to Naruto, keep watch. Who knows what could be lurking around here." I skipped over to Naruto, my eyes flashed a baby blue and, my hand became surrounded in a faint green light. 

I looked at the seal, that was on his lower stomach. It looked foreign or something. I wonder what it was holding. 

I looked back towards Uchiha, who was sitting in a tree. He seemed tense, and still on guard. I mean I would be at top game if we just got attacked out of the blue again. 

Being the person I was I had already set up a barrier around our little camp, no one was getting through without my knowledge. I continued to heal Naruto's minor bruises and scratches. 

"Hey Uchiha! Come down so I can heal you!" I called up into the trees. He looked down, he slowly stood up and jumped out the tree. While he reluctantly sat down, my hands once again were covered in a faint green light. 

I placed my hands on his back, then I paid attention to the self inflicted wound on his leg. It was a smart move in the situation we were in but, it didn't come without a risk.

 I did as much as I could for his leg, the wound was deep, yet it isn't severe enough for stitches. Now we play the waiting game

Hey, so school has been a big problem right now and the amount or work we receive is ridiculous. So if any more late updates occur it is because of school. Actually I typed this chapter in Geography so anyway as always I will
