Chapter 18

"No matter, I will make your deaths quick. However both of you have already seen that. It showed your worst fear, death." A smirk sat happily on my face, my fear isn't death, it is losing those I count as family.

She had thrown kunai towards us, aiming for our vital organs. Looking over my shoulder to see Uchiha, he had stabbed himself attempting to overcome the fear with pain.

I myself was having trouble moving, before the kunai had a chance to lodge into a organ, I was pushed out of the way. By a raven haired boy, stupid Uchihas I was fine on my own.

We crashed through many bushes, landing by a tree. I stood at my own will and looked around.

"Mother fucking fuckers are going to fucki-" I was silenced by a hand over my mouth, what nerve does this Uchiha want to get on. Suddenly a big ass snake tried to bite us, I removed the hand from my mouth and jumped to the side.

"No! Stay away!" I looked back to see Uchiha throwing shuriken into the mouth of the snake. The grass nin emerged out of the snakes body, aiming for Uchiha. Before she got any closer a array of kunai and shuriken stopped her in her tracks.

"Ha! Looks like I arrived just in time!" I halfway smirked, only for the blonde idiot to speak again. "Oh, by the way... what was that password again!?"

I small giggle erupted from my lips, only my team has an idiot, cocky bastard and a reaper. This fight is going to be one hell of pain.

"Took you long enough to get her!" I called out from below him, he flashed a thumbs up and smiled. I am pretty sure Uchiha sweat dropped at our actions but hey, not everyone can be a cool person.

"Sorry, I was in the process of being eaten by a snake!" So he was involved in digestion, that explains his appearance at least.

"Naruto get out of here!" Uchiha yelled, he kept going on about how he doesn't know what he was up against.

"So, Naruto I guess you survived the little snake." The weird enmey said.

"Alright I don't know what's going on here but, you have been bullying my friends and I don't like it! So why don't you slither on right back where you came from, Snake Lady! Hurry before I make a pair of shoes out of you!" Naruto yelled at our enemy.

"Take it!" I looked towards Uchiha in disbelief. "You want the scroll right! Then take it and leaves us alone!"

He tossed the scroll up in the air, Naruto pushed off the tree and caught it. Landing next to Uchiha. "Stop playing the damn hero!"

I joined my team, jumping off the ground and landing next to Naruto.

"I may not know the password but, I know what I am doing! It is you I am not to sure about, Sasuke! I don't care how much of a fight you've been through! The Sasuke I know wouldn't give up so easily!" Guess it was about time I stepped in.

"Naruto's right, he Uchiha I know wouldn't have given up our scroll without a fight. Man up and stop being a wuss." I said, as I spoke Naruto, with a kunai in hand, went to attack the grass ninja.

"Summoning jutsu!" A snake, BIG one too, came out of the smoke the lady had summoned. Naruto began fighting him head on, only to be attacked by the enemy.

"Now then let's see how well you do, Sasuke!" The nin ignored Naruto and charged towards Uchiha. Now it was my turn to play hero. I jumped in front of Uchiha and the snake, side by side with Naruto.

"Hey, kid your not hurt are you? Scaredy cat." As Naruto spoke he stabbed a Kunai into the snake, I noticed his normally bright blue eyes, were now a crimson red. The enemy picked up Naruto with her tongue, she plunged her fingers into his stomach and threw him to the side after.

"Naruto!" Damn he ain't gonna survive that fall, I threw a kunai which impaled his facket and stuck him to a tree. "Come on! I know you don't like Naruto all the time. He may not be the strongest but, at least he is doing something!"

Looks like that boiled his blood enough to snap back to reality. Now the real fight can begin. I tightened my grip around my scythe. Damn, Kakashi, you have some explaining to do. If I survive that is. I looked back to Uchiha his eyes were now red, the sharingan, I believe it is called.

Uchiha ran towards her with speed, I took this as a opportunity to get behind her. As unnoticed as I could get, I grabbed my scythe and swung at her from behind. Only giving Uchiha a couple mere seconds to rest but, in a fight like this, seconds could cost a life.

I was going at the grass nin like no tomorrow, each punch getting stronger than the last. I smirked as Uchiha jumped in and tackled her out of the tree, spinning while free falling through the air.

When they came into contact with the ground, the enemy dissolved into mud. Damn a clone, before more could happen kunai came whizzing by.

"Look out!" I called out and blocked as many as I could with my scythe. Uchiha pulled out some shurikens and threw them around her.

"Fire style: Fireball jutsu." I had now noticed that the shuriken we attached to strings which the fire had followed down the line.

I smirked, it was over. I high fived Uchiha but suddenly I couldn't move. Without the lady no his voice was changing.

"My my, you two are quite strong. Too bad I can only give one of you a parting present." I had now noticed that his face was peeling, his voice grew deeper. A new pasty white face had been present underneath.

He had us in a weak genjutsu, thinking we were weak enough. I moved slightly, the man not noticing.

"My name is Orochimaru, and you Sasuke will come to seek my power." I used the tip of my scythe to slice my hand slightly open. I moved my wrist behind my back.

The snake man's neck stretched from one tree to another, aiming for Uchiha's neck. As it was about to come in contact, I jumped from my spot in front of him.

A blood piercing scream escaped my mouth, only for my body to fall limp to the floor.
