The One And Only Reaper! (Fairytail X Naruto)

Chapter 33

"Reaper, just the girl I was looking for." He said with a smile, he was working on something. "Hey, Tomi. Is it ready?"

"Just adding the finishing touches." He was doing some kind of thing to the brace, what? I couldn't tell ya. "Here you go."

"Thank you." I said with a smile, Tenten looked a little out of place. "Who's this you got with you? A new fairy, she doesn't look familiar."

"Nope she is a friend and is in town for the week." I smiled and nodded for her to introduce herself. "I am Tenten of the hidden leaves."

"Nice to meet you, I am Tomi of the the weapon forge." I giggle lightly as he introduced himself. "We best be on our way, I'll catch you later."

I paid him and took the brace. "We have one more stop to make before we turn in for the night."

"You really make your ways around, don't you." Tenten smiled, she was most likely overwhelmed but didn't want to admit it. "Here we are."

I pushed off my good leg, leaping into the air. I grabbed the ledge of a window that was left open, Tenten followed my lead. "Hey guys."

"Hi Hailey." Natsu said with a smile. I looked for a bluenette which I was hoping to find here. "When I say make yourselves at home, you don't play around."

I nunged Lucy, causing her to smile. "Guys this is Tenten, she's staying at my place for the time being." 

"What bring you here then?" Gray asked with a smirk. "Your clothes are off, and I needed to see Wends." 

"Thats me, what's up?" Before I could answer I grabbed her by the wrist and jumped out the window. "See you guys later." 

"Where are we going?" She asked with a hint of confusion. Tenten jumped down, I think she was the most confused. "I need you at my place for a bit."

"It's almost ten, what do you need me for." She asked tilting her head to the side. "Tell Carla your staying at my place for the night. 

She jumped back up and sat on the ledge. She spoke, assumingly to Carla. "Sorry, Ten. We are going to my place now."

"Alright, Carla is staying with Lucy. Now let's get a move on." Wendy said with a smile. I lead the way and within minutes we were walking into my apartment. 

I turned on the lights to the living area. "Welcome to my home. You can stay in the guest room, and anything you find you can eat. But, I haven't gone shopping in a couple months so I doubt anything is safe to eat." 

I lead Tenten to a door that I pushed open. It was the same size as my bedroom but a little more bare and no books. 

"Here is the guest room, like I said before, pretty much anything in here you can use. I believe there is some clothes in the dresser, Natsu burned down my bedroom so I had to stay in this room for a week." I said with a smile as I flipped on the light switch. "I will be in the living room with Wendy, if you need anything just ask, night."

All that being said I exited the room with a smile. I closed the door and made my way over to Wends. 

"So why am I here?" She asked and tilted her head in confusion. "I need your help."

"With what?" She asked with a smile. I returned her smile and spoke. "My leg." 

"I told you I couldn't do anymore than I had." Her smile had faded and looked at the ground. "I know, but do you remember Tomi?"

She had a look, as if she was in a deep thought. Which she was. "Yes, he was the man you saved. But what about him? He was a weapon maker."

"I had him make me a brace." I said and pulled out the brace from earlier. She smirked for a moment before speaking. "This might actually work."

"The thing is I need help putting it on." I sighed, she quickly took the brace from me and started putting it on my leg. I smiled lightly as she strapped it on.

"There we go, try moving your hip." I did as I was told and moved my right hip lightly. My leg twitched slightly in an attempt to move. I smiled widely and through my hands over Wendy, embracing her in a tight hug. 

"We can start training it tomorrow. Think of it as physical therapy." She returned the hug and said. I smiled, excited my father had failed and I could somehow fight again.   

"Good night Wends." I said with a smile and slowly, very very slowly, made my way to my room with no crutches. I did stumble a few times but I will get better eventually. 

I plopped down onto my bed, not bothering to get changed. As I hit the pillow my vision faded out into a deep sleep.

The sunlight through the window woke me up. I sat up and pushed the hair out of my face. I swung both legs over the side of my bed. 

I took off the lavender dress, and brace. As quickly as possible I put on a pair of short black shorts. I also put on a lavender tank top, that complimented my eyes. 

Now that part I was dreading, putting on the brace. I started from my thigh and worked my way down to my ankle. In total it took me almost an hour.

It took me almost ten minutes to get out of my bedroom as well. When I made it out Tenten and Wendy were chatting away in the kitchen. 

"Glad to see you two are friends." I said with a smile as I made my way over to the fridge. As I suspected most of the food was bad. "What's wrong with your leg."

I stiffened slightly and looked towards Tenten. I shot a glance toward Wendy, she only nodded. "You have to swear not to tell anyone, understand?"

"Should I be afraid?" She asked unsurely. "Not necessarily, but you can't tell anyone."

"Alright I swear not to tell." She said more confidence laced her voice. "I can't use my right leg, due to some nerve damage in my leg."

I saw her eyes narrow slightly, as in sorrow almost. "Hence the reason why she now wears that thing around her leg."
