Chapter 37

Without further introduction, I present to you the last chapter of Reaper!

I raised a glass with a smile. "Tonight we celebrate not only my promotion but our farewell party for our guests!"

It will be a week tomorrow the deal was they could only stay for a week. I also have to see if the thunder legion is back yet, I have a task for Freed.

Everyone went to partying, some drinking, others laughing it truly made me happy for everyone to be getting along.

I scanned the guild hall for a certain raven haired boy. I noticed the doors close, bingo. I walked out and saw Uchiha sitting on the small ocean near the rear end of the guild hall.

I sighed and walked towards him, staring out into the abyss of the ocean. I sat down next to him, never taking my eyes off of the water.

"Are you guys rea-" Without warning his lips were sealed to mine. What was this feeling, I have never felt this way before. I wanted to kiss back however I was unsure how to.

He pulled away, most likely feeling that I was kissing back. A slight blush spreaded across his face.

"I'm so-" I cut him off with a hug, something I knew how to do. "I'm aromantic, please don't tell anybody. The only person who knows is Wendy."

"I won't, but why won't you come back with us?" He asked, his blush now faded, and his face glowing in the pale moonlight. I have this feeling in the back of my head, saying that I like him more than a friend.

"I have much more responsibility here than I had before, promise me you will watch over Naruto. God only knows how much he needs it." I said with a laugh, it was pained, I mean it wasn't like I was saying goodbye to the boy who kissed me.

"I will try my best." I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder, something I rarely ever feel struck me. I felt comfort, I almost felt safe, almost. I stood up and smiled one last time at him, little did he know this would be the last time I saw him for almost three years.

"Thank you, Sasuke." I said and walked off, back into the life of the party. I walked straight over to master with a smile and said. "I am going on a small trip, a week max. I will visit my old house and return no later than a week."

"May I ask what for, and when will you leave?" He asked putting down the barrel of booze he was about to chug. "I wish to learn my family's magic. I will leave tonight."

"Very well, what about the ninja?" He asked, glancing over my shoulder to the ninja who were getting along with the guild. "Give them these, I wrote them quickly this morning. I have one more I need to write, after that I will be gone."

I handed him the letters and quickly scurried up to the second floor. I sat at a table with a pen and paper and write a letter for Uchiha, after about an hour I handed my last letter to master and dashed off into the night. A few stray tears fell off my face, vanishing into the endless night.

As I dashed through the alleyways of Magnolia, I recalled every word I wrote on each letter.

Dear Guy and Tenten,

I apologize for not seeing you off properly, but some things had come up. I greatly appreciate the help in aiding me to the fall of my father. Guy you have a very youthful spirit, I hope you train Tenten and the others well. This is goodbye, may we meet again.

Dear Shikamaru,

Pineapple head, I never called you that to your face, quite saddening if you ask me. It was a perfectly good name. Congrats on making Chunin, face it I know your getting it you have a exceptionally high I.Q. Sorry I can't see you today thanks for not being a complete jackass to me.

Dear Jiraiya,

To be completely honest with you, I forgot you were here. I'm not really sorry about missing your send off due to never seeing you. All that aside, I have seen the way you treat Naruto. You care for him, deeply may I mention. If the research I dd on you was correct you were the teacher of his father. Also the fourth hokage. I hope you can teach him in the same way you taught his father. One more thing is that if you hurt him, your head will be strung to a metal swing set for all the other children to see.

Dear Kakashi,

Let me start off by saying thank you, thanks for not killing me when you first met me. Thank you for bringing me to a village I can call my home, mostly I am thankful for you being a great teacher. Even though I could beat you to a pulp it was still quite fun. Please watch out for Naruto, and Uchiha I have a feeling they will become immensely powerful, maybe even beyond mine. However I can't guarantee I will see you all again. So from student to teacher I hope you continue to teach our knucklehead boys the same way you have been. Keep them down the right path, I trust I can leave this to you. Oh and I stole one of your books once, that shit scared me to hell and back.

What up little bro, I am sorry I left you guys to return on your own. A really super secret mission came up only I could do. When I see you again I expect a full report on the ramen shops across the land of fire. I need to know where the finest noodles are at. I hope you keep training to the best of your abilities, and do a favor of kicking the Pervy Sage's ass for writing those messed up books. I also need you to step up your prank game. At this point I think that little boy who calls you 'boss' has done more pranks than you. Stay strong.

Hey, I'm sorry for not seeing you off. I know it will bother you, but you won't let it show. About when you kissed me, I was unsure how to return it. As I told you before I can't feel romantic feelings, however when you kissed me I felt something different. I hope you train hard with Kakashi, do your best in the remainder of the exams. I hope to see you again.
