The One And Only Reaper! (Fairytail X Naruto)

Chapter 20

About three days have gone by, still no second scroll for us. We were camping out for a while by a lake and was about to go fishing.

"You guys ready?" I called out, I had just finished changing into a swimsuit that I kept in my bag. I mean I am a water dragon slayer, I love being around water.

I was wearing a light purple bikini, I jumped into the river and swam with the fish. Naruto performed his shadow clones and jumped into the river.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!! YOU ARE SCARING ALL THE FISHIES!" I yelled toward the blonde, the fish jumped out of the water. Only for Uchiha to pin the fish to a tree.

These people are psychos! What are they going to gain by killing fish.

"We have to eat! Fish are the best option right now!" Naruto yelled back. I guess their logic did make sense, I never had to worry about that because I can pretty much eat anything.

I went under water and took in a big gulp of the river water. The water is this world was much different compared to the rivers near Fairytail.

It seemed almost as if I was drinking water out of the sewers. In the rivers near Fairytail tasted more salty and sweet in some ways.

I stared at the lake as I pulled myself out of the water. I looked at a little girl with lilac hair and bright purple eyes. Me, with my mother, the day before she died.

I shook my head and dismissed the thought. Each element I hold haves a special memory attached to it. That's how I gain my power, or at least from which Atlas told me.

Water, is the element I gained from the day at the beach. I was nearly 4, yet somehow I remember this day so accurately. From the waves, to the setting sun and even the way the sand smelled. This was the day my mother had fallen ill into the water.

I remember doctors rushing towards the water and pulling her body out of the water. The way her frail hands were paler than the sand. The next day she was murdered because of our power. My heart shattered into two. From this point on I told myself to not feel nearly as much emotion as before.

That was my connection to water. The way my mother had almost died in it. However not all my connections are bad, my connection to some elements are made from my bonds or fond moments.

I stared at myself in the rivers reflection. I stared at the long bandages that covered my body. I hated showing the scars, they made me feel weak in a way I can't explain.

Showing people I was hurt made me feel more vulnerable to others.

"Hey, you doing ok?" I whipped my head around to see the Uchiha in all his glory, not. I nodded and went back to looking at the river.

"Why do you where so many bandages?" I met his glare with a even colder one, telling him to back off with only a glare.

For a moment I could of sworn that I saw him smirk. Then I smelt something. That stupid biotch that gave me a hickey.

"Who's with Naruto?" I asked quickly. But added a sense of curiously to not draw attention to my worried state.

"That Kabuto from before? He is going to help us get the second scroll?" I sighed and immediately thought of a set up. Fuck this, I knew it was a set up. But honestly didn't care enough to stop it.

"Alright, lets get this over with." I said and stood up. Throwing my turtle neck sweatshirt and black booty shorts on. Over my bathing suit.

We raced into the forest following the white haired man. I could see the tower through the maze of trees. I halted and took in the surroundings. Three genin, I assume from the rain. The same ninja who pulled off that pathetic transformation on Naruto.

Kabuto, Naruto, and Uchiha looked back at me. Suddenly clones started emerging out of the surrounding area. This is going to be one hell of a fight.

A slight smirk danced its way into my bored face. Uchiha And Naruto started to aimlessly attack the clone. Only for them to reform.

What's their game? I watched as a real attack whizzed by Naruto. They are hiding and waiting for the time to strike.

"Alright!" I called out into the clones. I singled Naruto and a Uchiha to come here. "Naruto make shadow clones."

He did as I said without question. He created four clones.

"Good now have them transform them into us. While you do that we will hide."

The clones nodded and the 'real' people went to hide in a bush. Hopefully, once the attackers see the clones are getting tired, they will reveal themselves. Giving us the perfect opportunity to attack.

Now we play the waiting game. The clone vs clones went on for about an hour. Then all of our lookalikes dropped to the ground in exhaustion.

As I had predicted three Benin came out of the trees. Almost simultaneously the clones disappeared.

"Now we will be taking your scroll." I smirked and landed behind the speaker. Silently and swiftly my scythe blade was around his neck. 

"I think we will be taking your scroll instead." A giggle erupted from my mouth as they threw their scrolls up. Now, time to render them unconscious. 

Naruto, Uchiha and Kabuto knocked the three genin out. I tossed the scroll to Naruto. 

"You lose it..." I paused and let my smile drop. "I kill you."

Visible shudders was sent down his spine. All he did was nod. A soft smile danced it's way onto my lips as we made our way to the tower. 

I pushed the tower door open, we were greeted by Kakashi who pretty much told us to open the scrolls. Then without further ado he left.

I rolled open the heaven scroll, Naruto opened the earth scroll. On the inside was weird markings, guess I need to do some more research later. 

"Congrats on passing..." Blah Blah Blah he went on about this whole sappy speech. Which honestly made me want to throw up. 

We made our way to the main part of the tower, teams from around the country were here. I noticed that all the rookies had made it. 

"Alright folks! We will now move into the preliminaries. If you are not qualified and to weak to participate you and your team will be disqualified." Kabuto raised his hand, the Naruto yelled at him. You know the usual that happens here.

"Due to having many passing teams we will do one vs one." Honestly my neck was still searing in pain. I held my hand over the bitten area. I was kinda wondering what it looked like. 

"First up Sasuke Uchiha VS Yoroi Akado!" The announcer announced.
