Great Escape

                              It was only 2 hours later that Ren new Jenna was missing. Ren woke in a cold sweat, heart beating fast and a throbbing in his knee. He jumped out of bed and made his way to Jenna's door. Without knocking and knowing it was locked he shoulder rammed the door. Ren's roar woke the house. "Everyone up! Jenna's gone.  It took an hour for everyone to get up get their gear and head out. By the time they were on the road Ren was a mess. They had to guess as to where she headed. Taylor looked at Ren and asked "which way boss?" Ren sat at the light closed his eyes, rolled down the window and sighed. He turned the SUV to the left and headed to Willow Hill. Nate asked from the backseat Willow Hill? I thought she said they stuck to the cities."  Ren Nodded and said ya but i bet she picked up on the same clues I did.

        Ren parked the SUV on the outskirts of the dirt road leading to one of the older mills ran by the local logging company. From there they headed out on foot. They headed through woods and listened as Calum patched through on their ear pieces.  "Ok guys comm check." They each sounded back with a one or two and Calum switched on the monitors. "Video up and looking clear go ahead and go dark." they switched their cameras over to night vision and continued up to the mill.  As they reached the larger building they slowed listening for any movement. " I don't hear anything Ren You see any thing?" Adam asked. Ren Shook his head and looked to Nate. Nate held up his hand and made a small circle with his finger. He circled the building and saw nothing but he had a gut feeling they were here. He circled back around and whispered to Ren. I stayed down wind so I don't think they know we are here. I don't see anything but...What? Ren asked. "whats your gut say Nate?  you have always had my six. You have never steered us wrong before." Ren looked into Nate's eyes and said tell me man.  My gut says they're  here but not in this building.

           Ren motioned for the pack to spread out and they searched the woods. Sarah made a sudden stop and whispered " here". Just bellow her covered by leaves was a steel metal door. It looked like they were standing on a small hill with the door built into the side. Nate came up along side her and dropped on his belly. Ren and Taylor did the same. This is it. Ren said. I can feel her she's down there. He stood up and looked to Taylor and Nate. Do your Thing. Nate held Taylor's ankles while he dropped over the edge and place a small sticky device to the door. Nate pulled him back and Taylor counted . Four three two and a small pop sounded and a fizzle of smoke came up. Doors open he said. They dropped down and entered the long hallway. Sarah said no use going silent guys they know we are here. She tipped her head forward as three guys with guns came around the corner. "Adam" Ren said. Adam dropped to his knees quickly reached in his bag and brought out a can. He shook it pointed at the them and pulled the tab. the hallway filled up with smoke and Ren and Adam shifted and took out the three men while Nate and Sarah watched their backs.

            Jenna hung from the chains by her wrists. Blood dripped from her head and knee as the man with the crow bar hit her again. Jenna refused to cry out as she felt the skin on her back break open. Another man in a suit stood off to the side and said. "They won't leave her alive Jenna. Your little friends can't help you. Now tell us who else did you tell about us. Jenna stayed silent as she saw Ren on the monitor she smiled. A phone rang and the man in the lab coat answered. He looked over at the man in the suit and said. "She wants to talk to you".He took the phone urmered a few words and hung up, picked up the walkie and said. "kill them." It seems Jenna this is your lucky day. Wrap it up here gather the others Command wants us to move out."

      Jenna felt the explosion before she heard it. Her ears were still ringing when she opened her eyes and saw a wolf ripping out the throat of then man in the suit and another tearing apart the man in the lab coat. She stood walked over to the man in the lab coat and said. I told you Dr. Nine that e would come for me." she turned then walked to the Black wolf, dropped to her knees and hugged him. Jenna looked up and asked. "My Brothers and the others?" Ren shifted back and said. Sarah and Nate went to find them. They are still here. A few of the suits got away.

                 Nate and Sarah found another locked room and Nate set the charge. Another pop and fizz and they got in. The room held 6 bunk beds. all the beds were occupied except one and Nate guessed they were keeping it open for Jenna. The bottom bunk of that bed held a male curled into a ball and bleeding. Sarah spoke out. Were here to get you out. Jenna came around the corner  holding onto Ren's arm. When the others saw her they visibly relaxed. Bradford strode forward and gently touched her cheek with his fingers. "I thought I would never see you again."

                 Nate called for Ren from across the room where he knelt by a bunk. Jenna looked around the room ages ranging from 8-22 and looked at the bunk Nate was at. She sucked in a breath and said " Oh God Jace" Ren took her to the bunk where Nate was wrapping the wounds on Jace as much as possible. Ren put a hand on Nate's shoulder and said carry him we have to get out of here. Ren carried Jenna out and Nate carried Jace. They all piled into the SUV and headed back to Falling Forge. Adam Had shifted back and protested loudly on how that rescue mission was just a little to easy. With agreements from everyone the ride went silent.

            Ren pulled into the hospital and helped Jenna inside. carrying Jace Nate grabbed the nearest stretcher and gently laid Jace down.  Dr. Stivers rushed in and started barking out orders. Both were rushed into surgery. It was hours later when Ren finally got to sit beside Jenna and hold her hand. At her insistence her brother shared a room with her. Bradford sat between both beds talking quietly with Ren.
