My apartment wasn't even cleaned from it's vandalism when we got back from work, it just had police tape stretched over it with absolutely no one inside.

I duck under the tape while Aaron steps over it, he looks around for a moment under his bandana before sighing.

He had put it back on when we went to work, I was a little disappointed, I still didn't know why he hid his eyes, but at least, when were were alone, he took it off.

"Never got to see it before now. Let's see if we can find anything." He said, ruffling my raven hair and rummaging through the rubble.

We search around a good while, I stepped over a few broken chairs and Aaron opens the door to my bedroom.

I follow him, I had searched every inch of the rest of my place.

My room had somehow managed to be mostly untouched, my laptop was gone and the door had been busted, but it mostly stayed the same.

"Hmmm... I guess someone had to leave pretty quick, your bedroom looks okay." He went over to my closet and opened the door, rummaging around.

I open drawers in my desk, there had to be something in here, anything, we had a lead, but we needed to be completely sure before we went and accused somebody.

"Uh..." I heard Aaron mutter from my closet, I thought he had found something, so I turn to face him.

"Find something?"

He turned around and lifted up a hanger with... a very, very short and revealing black dress I had almost forgotten I had.

His face was red and his other hand rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Something is right. Irene, why would you wear this? It's.... so..... unlike you." He had trouble forming his thoughts into words, and my face went pink.

"Ugh... Gene. I wore it at a party once, then stashed it away. I know, it's so short." He shook his head and stuffed the dress back into my closet.

And I reach the final drawer.

I pulled it out and there's something I didn't remember putting there.

A button.

Yes, a button, it was black, and slightly shiny, and had unreadable red letters etched onto the face and initials etched onto the back.

T.V.

"Found something!" I nearly tackled Aaron to the ground, trying to show him this insignificant little button that I may have just forgotten that I had.

"A button? Really?" I pouted and turned it over, showing him the initials.

"T.V.? Sounds like a company name. Hold on." He pulled his phone out of his pocket And typed  something, a large grin on his face.

"Yup, Telecom Vision, one of my father's business partners, their a computer company." He took the button and looked closely at it, holding his phone up to it and magnifying it.

"And those letters are their logo. That's definitely them." I got excited, finally we were getting somewhere. But then I realized something.

"Maybe, But were gonna need more than a button to prove it. Not to mention we can't just accuse an entire company, we need to single someone out." He nodded in agreement moving the button in his hands.

I heard noises from outside my bedroom door so I look out, and see a young man in a cop uniform speaking into the radio.

He saw us before I could warn Aaron and immediately he has his hands on his gun.
