The day had come, the office was and hour bus ride away, but we all had to wear formal clothes to get inside, it was strange, I was in a purple dress with my hair in a braid behind my head, Melissa had done it for me.She had come in with nice clothes, so she didn't have to change.
And then there was Aaron.
He stepped out of the bathroom looking like a younger version of his father, his suit tucked in, hair slicked back, and his tie tied neatly around his neck.
I couldn't help but heat up, He looked serious and proper, the way he stood showed confidence in his step. He gripped his bandana in his hand before slowly sticking it in his pocket.
"Let's get going, the sooner I can get out of this suit the better." He straightened his tie and opened the door for us, Melissa looking proudly at her brother.
"You look so handsome little brother." She giggled as he grumbled under his breath, the agents had tripled and one even looked above his sunglasses to look at him.
Aaron ignored them, walking in an almost strut to the elevator as we followed.
I was glad I had met him when I did, if I had when he was wearing his suit I probably would have passed out. I felt almost inadequate to be by his side.
"Aph.... are you okay Baby?" His face went red as the last word left his mouth, and his arm traveled to my shoulder as he held me closer to him.
"Yeah.... I just, you look so sophisticated." I admitted, going a little pink at our public affection, I heard Mellissa giggle and look over starstruck.
"Ahh! You two are so cute!" She squealed, and finally the elevator reached the bottom, the agents worried me, what if they reported to Aaron's Dad?
"What about the agents?" I asked when we were out of earshot of the building, she shrugged it off and answered calmly.
"I spread around that we were going to a night club, so I'll pick up a few drinks on our way back to make that believable." Aaron chuckled, starting to slouch like he always did and walking more naturally.
"I could use one." Melissa glared at him and he immediately went in the defense.
"One. I said One." She didn't look entirely convinced, but we were at the bus stop waiting, when.... something felt strange.
It felt like a vibrating string had just been plucked in my insides, It was only afternoon, though about the time we went to bed.
It happened again, it wasn't unpleasant, not yet anyway, but it was paired with a dull aching of my thighs, like they wanted something from me.
I shook it off. And as I got in the bus, it started to get worse, Aaron sat beside me and eyed me as I tried to find a comfortable position with this strange sensation rumbling through my body.
"Sit on a nerve, it'll pass for awhile." He didn't look at me, but I somehow knew that he was talking to me, I moved my position to sit on a nerve and the sensation subsided, I gasped quietly in relief.
He chuckled, before cupping his hand around the back of my neck.
"So.... our nightly experiences are getting to you are they?" He whispered quietly into my ear, it sent shivers down my spine, and I didn't realize he had slipped and hand into my dress.
"What?" He chuckled again and smirked, I could finally feel his hand on my back.
"When I pleasure you, your body anticipates it now." He growled baring his sharp teeth.
"It needs me, unfortunately, I can't grant that tonight." He laughed and pulled away, the strings in my insides were back and stronger than ever.
"Shit.... Aaron I hate you." I pushed him lightly, and he laughed some more.
"Language. And don't worry, I'm still gonna make you moan when we get back." He barked in my ear and I felt my heart start to race, the feeling evolved into a burning sensation, I was starting to get hot.
Finally we get there and at that point I might've been on fire, my thighs were starting to really hurt now.
The building was gigantic, with so many windows it looked made completely out of glass, emblazoned proudly on the front was the logo of a red wolf, and the letters LF.
"Lycan Foundation." Melissa explained before pushing open the doors to the office, there was a small waiting room with a few, tired looking people and a long, white counter with a smiling secretary at the front.
Everything looked immaculate, no pinch of dirt or dust, the beige carpet had no stains or dark spots, and the grey walls were perfectly painted.
It looked so unnatural, there was a lack of natural lighting even with the thousands of windows, and plants? The concept seemed to be otherworldly here.
Melissa strolled up to the secretary, a young, perfect looking person, that had such a wide and Unnatural smile it sent chills up my back, and not the good kind.
Something felt so wrong in this place, everything looked made out of rubber, so fake.
"We need to get into my father's office, It's family matters." The secretary, without one second of hesitation cocked her head and in a monotone, cheery voice said:
"I'm sorry, Mr. Lycan isn't in the office at the moment, can I help you with other things?" Even this girl's voice sounded like a robots, Aaron gripped my head, he looked just as uncomfortable as I.
"I know, he's asked us to deliver a package, we'll only be a moment." I hadn't noticed before, but she had a very important looking package in her hands.
The creepy secretary looked at the box with a smile and hit a button to call someone.
"Riley, please escort Mr. Lycan's daughter and Son to his office please." Immediately Aaron got tense, he got the secretary's attention and pointed to me, but, still with a smile shook her head.
"I'm sorry, she'll have to wait out here." My instinct told me no, to just wait at home, or to convince her to let me go with them, I did not want to be in here alone.
Melissa looked over at me apologetically but before any of us could argue, Aaron and Melissa were ushered off, and, trying to shake off the feeling of dread, sat down in the waiting chair.
Little did I know, I should have listened to my instincts.
