Kookie
Officially Completed: 3/1/18A month later on at night, everyone else returned to their rooms so Jungkook and Tae were left to clean the messy kitchen since it was Taehyung's turn tonight to do so. Jungkook just wanted to help, although the didn't have to. It was silent between the two as Jungkook was sweeping and Taehyung was doing the dishes. "It's too quiet," Taehyung comments.
"Well let's turn on some music," Jungkook says taking his phone out of his pocket and hooking it up their little stereo system. He picks a song he's been quite obsessed with lately. Hello Bitches by CL. Jungkook starts sweeping to the beat while swaying his hips. Taehyung watched his hips as they moved. Jungkook walked around the broom as he rapped the words. This made the older man laugh. Taehyung brought his hands up from the water and began to get into the song like Jungkook. He dried his hands and began to join the brunette. They both seemed to work in sync at some points in the song causing them to be a laughing sweaty mess at the end.
"You know, you're really good," Taehyung comments going back to the dishes. "You're not too bad yourself," Jungkook smiles sweeping at a normal pace. Another song the two like comes on but they focus more on their tasks at hand before allowing themselves to get back into the music fully. Once they were both done, since they were worn out from dancing they sat down at the table to catch their breaths.
Jungkook takes a big swig of his water before sitting back in his seat. "Haven't done that in a long time," The lighter brunette says putting his head back on the chair. "Dancing is fun, you should do it more often," Jungkook says slightly turning his body towards him. "I should, I forgot how fun it was," Taehyung agrees thinking about how much he used to dance.
After the fast paced song changed to something slower. This was one of Jungkook's ultimate favorites to sing. He always got an overwhelming feeling of excitement that would make his heart skip a beat. Of course, though, it would make him think about past boyfriends that hurt him in the past. He was able to learn all the English in this song from practicing whenever he could.
Once the artist sang he sang along. Bruno Mars, When I Was Your Man. Jungkook put his own twists to the song every time he felt the words in his heart as the song took him to a completely different world.
Taehyung watched him adoringly and intently as the man before him expressions changed with almost every word. How he moved his hand with every slur and consonant. Jungkook's amazing voice broadcasted every feeling of the song perfectly making Taehyung tear up a small bit as his heart swelled. This has happened many times but this time it doesn't seem like the brunette is holding back. With the others around he sings just as beautiful but he seems to tone it down in fear of something unknown. This is the first time Taehyung has gotten the pleasure to hear him really sing out.
There it was. That feeling he's felt so many times before for the younger man. His heart pounded faster, it felt like there was a word in his throat he couldn't get out. Taehyung desperately wanted to feel Jungkook's hair between his fingers as he put his hand behind his neck. He wanted to pull Jungkook into him and finally capture his soft pink lips as their breaths intertwined, but he stayed put in his seat holding back. He loved the brunette man but he could never tell him. Their friendship is too precious and he wouldn't want to screw it up by admitting feelings and being rejected. Also, the rules.
