Three weeks later, Namjoon and Jin were relaxing in the younger's bed. Both against the headboard, with pillows supporting their backs. Jin had his circle shaped glasses on as he was reading an actual hardback book, Namjoon himself was also reading but it was a news article. The room was silent, Namjoon admired how he and Jin could sit in such a comfortable silence.
The younger looks over at Jin who was submerged in the book he was reading. The younger man loved how his boyfriends eyes were the equivalent to a sugar gliders big dark ones. He admired Jin's beautifully shaped, plump pink lips. Namjoon couldn't help but also notice how anytime something good or bad would happen Jin's facial expression would change. The blonde even found how his boyfriend's glasses sat on his face intriguing. Jin hadn't pushed them up so, they sat comfortably on the dips of his nose and Namjoon found it so cute. The younger wondered how Jin liked him so much.
Never in his life would Namjoon have thought he could treasure someone as much as he does Jin. He thought he'd find whoever had his heart in a place more cliché, like a coffee shop or maybe even at his work place. If anyone could've told Namjoon that signing up for a program could help him be connected with someone he adored so much, he probably would've laughed at them.
The younger couldn't deny that he loved Jin. If he was put into a situation where he had to take a bullet for him, he'd do it. Namjoon would do it just to make sure that Jin lives a long happy life. Those three words have been on the tip of his tongue for weeks now, but he thought the elder would think that it was too soon. Their relationship still felt fairly new.
At this point Namjoon's phone had already fallen asleep, and it was sitting in his hand.
Jin could feel eyes on him. He glances over at Namjoon then back at his book. The younger man seemed to be in some sort of trance like state. Jin's mind trailing away from the book, he wondered why Namjoon was just staring at him. He has caught Joon doing this often, but he never had the answer to why.
"What?" Jin ask, his eyes still glued to the book. Jin knew Namjoon had a reason for staring. If the younger was curious about something why didn't he just ask him? Jin wanted to know what he was curious about. Since he didn't receive an answer from Namjoon, the elder looked at his boyfriend, "What is it?"
Namjoon didn't even register what he said in his head until it was too late. The words had already slipped from his lips. "I love you." Jin's eyes widens in surprise. That wasn't the answer he was expecting. The brunette couldn't keep his lips from forming into a smile as his heart pounded against his rib cage. In attempts to contain his smile he bit his bottom lip. Namjoon coming to the realization of his words, shuts his eyes tightly and lets his head fall as he sighs.
