Hello! I was asked to do a tutorial on how I draw lips, so here goes!
First, start with a line, kinda like this:
Then you gotta draw the outline for it. Here's my outline for full lips vs. thin lips:
(Note: all lips are different, not all will look like this)
Okay, so the top lip is usually darker, considering the lighting. So start to shade it in a little like this:
And then add some curved lines and make the line between the lips darker. Make the tops of the upper lip lighter to show where the light hits.
Then you can start shading in the lower lip with curved lines that go with the curves of the lips (mostly at the top and bottom):
The make your dark areas darker and you're done! Huzzah!
Hopefully this was helpful! Remember that it's okay if your lips don't look perfect, because trust me, neither do mine lol 😂
