Sidni's point of view
Its Monday. Ughh...
It has been a few weeks since Matt has woken up. My Boss has been keeping a close eye on me since the incident. He believes Danni. Since I know everything about her, ya know, we used to be best friends and all. My Boss is sleeping with her. I'm not going into detail but one of the hospital beds are broken. *cough cough*. Anyways. I've been thinking about quiting. Should I? I don't know. But as long as Matt is there, I'm not leaving.
I arrive to work and clock in. Guess who the fuck is there. Danni. How did she get out of the looney bin? She must've had a "private talk" with the officers. That bitch. I don't care. I go to Matt's room and see Brian and Jimmy.
"So uh, Danni's back?" Jimmy says nervously.
"Yep, it seems she is." I say while my face turns red. "Anyways, I've been singing to him. I think he can hear me. He moved his hand one night and he mumbled something to me."
The guys are in shock.
"Fuck. You don't know that he's awake" Brian asks.
Then I hear Matt laughing. I blush. Holy Fuck. I may or may not have told him that I've always loved him. I turn to Matt. Fuck you I say silently at him.
"I've been awake since Friday. But i need to complement you. You have a beautiful voice." He blushes.
"Ooooo....Matt is blushing." They guys say together.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Matt snaps at them. The guys lost color on their face and looked down.
"Well, you seem to be recovering fine. Let me check your ribs."
I walk over there and lift up his shirt. I see his abs and damnnnn. This is your job Sid. Touch the ribs. Then I did.
"You should be able to go home tonight. I'll fill out the paperwork, you're probably thrilled to go home. Right?" He doesn't answer.
"Uh...Matt. Don't pull that shit aga...."
He shot straight up.
"Finally, I've been waiting to hear you cuss. Fuck yea. See? I told you Jimmy that she's not square." He said while laughing.
"You called me a square Jimmy?" I look at him and he was scared.
"Uh no I didn't....BRIAN SAID YOU WERR AND I AGREED!" He yelled at me and pointed at Brian.
"Ugh...I can't cuss because I'm a doctor. But since I have special guests. Fuck you both, I'm going to get the papers."
I walk out. I feel a pair of eyes on me as I leave. I look over to see Danni. I turn around and go grab the papers. I fill out the papers and hand them to my boss.
"Well, well, well. Mrs.Casen. I'll put this to order, only if you quit and give Danni your spot."
"Uh...why?"
"She told me some things about your past. So, if you don't want those you will quit. You will quit when Mr.Sanders leaves."
You know what. I wan't to.
"Alright, when my shift is up at 8. Matt will go home and you'll never see me again."
He looks pleased.
"Alright Sid. Fuck off." He smiles and smacks my ass while I walk away. What a perv.
"Alright guys, it's approved."
Matt looks pissed off.
"Um, you're just going to let him smack your ass like that?" He sits up and stares me down.
"I'm used to ......" I cut myself off. "I mean..... its my last day anyways. Why cause hell?"
"Oh okay." He looks at me questioning my answer.
I walk out. Shit, what did I just say. They can't know. I moved here to get away from it all.
A few hours pass and it's now 7. I pack all of Matt's stuff. I help him up. He hugs me. Gosh, he smells so good. He backs away.
"So, this may be a bad time to bring it up. But do you want a new job?"
"It depends what it is. As long as I'm not in a nurse costume." I said flirtingly. Holy crap. I just...ughh...why am I like this? He rubs the back of his neck and starts blushing.
"Well damn, I need to find someone else then. Im kidding. I just love your voice. If you could come to the studio and practice with us and go on our next tour that would be great. I've been looking for an amazing voice since Val. You know. The guys held auditioms but there was no one like her. So Sid, will you?"
MY LIFE DREAM HAS COME TRUE. MATTHEW CHARLES SANDERS HAS JUST ASKED ME TO SING WITH AVENGED SEVENFOLD.
"Uh yea sure. I would be honored to." I say trying to be cool.
"Alright!! So since the guys already left, can you give me a ride to the studio?"
"Yea lets go!" I say running out the room.
"Wait, I have to say something before i leave." I say. He nods and helps me up on the front desk. I stand up and clear my throat to get everyones attention.
"Hey guys, your favorite Doctor is leaving. I know it sucks. I just have one thing to tell you guys before I go. It comes from the bottom of my heart." *Dramatic pause*
"FUCK YOU!!"
I jump down and me and Matt bolt for the door. He falls to the ground laughing. I can't catch my breath.
"That was the best thing ever. I can't wait to tell the guys that you're definitely not a square." He stands up and gains his composure.
We reach the main floor and we walk to my car.
He hesitates to open the door.
"It's okay, you'll be alright."
He opens the passenger door and sits down to buckle up. I get in and start the car. Bat country starts blasting and I quickly turn it down.
"Told you I'm a big fan"
He laughs and I change the song to something lighter. I turn on "warmness on the soul" as he directs me to the studio.
