Andrew was the top of the class, he had blonde curly hair that fell into his eyes sometimes, deeply tanned skin, and grey eyes. Being the smartest kid in the school had it's perks, teachers liked you and you got a lot of offers to tutor others for class credit.

Percy was one of the worst in class, she had messy black hair that just brushed her shoulders, deeply tanned and smooth skin, and sea green eyes to rival even the ocean itself. She was trouble maker in her leather jackets and ripped skinny jeans.

The two were complete opposites, and bestfriends.

Andrew had a habit of staying up all night doing homework or just reading, so Percy made sure to bring him a coffee and cookie every day. Andrew would down the coffee while going over math problems for the fifth time and Percy would have to fix his sweater for him.

The only day's Andrew got a full night's sleep is went he would pass out at Percy's.

On the other hand, Percy had a habit of not caring enough to do her homework. Andrew would make sure she did it before she got to do anything else. He would take way swimming privileges or simply give her the silent treatment. Percy hated it when Andrew gave her the silent treatment, so when she finally did get her work done and he would talk to her again, she would cling to his arm and they would watch a movie tell they both fell asleep.

Currently the two were packing their bags from art class when one of the math teachers, Mr. Jule, came up to Andrew to ask him something. "Hello Andrew, I was wondering if I could ask you for a favor."

"I believe this would make four favor, Mr. Jule." Andrew teased while smiling. "Fine, what is it?" Percy sat on the table by Andrew as she waited, Andrew was coming over to her house so she was his ride home.

"I have a student who isn't doing the best, she has been having troubles at home, but is a very smart girl. She is in all advanced classes but she just needs some help through this ruff patch." Mr. Jule ran a hand over his balding head as he sighed. "I was wondering if you could just meet with her twice a week to help with homework?"

"Sure, sir. Who is it?" Andrew crossed his arms even as Percy leaned forward and wrapped her arms around his waist and looked up at him with a pouting face. Percy knew he was already tutoring six kids, he didn't have the time or energy to do this.

"Luca Castellan." Mr. Jule said as his tan face lit up with a smile, he was a short man with a scrawny build. "I'll introduce you tomorrow. Here's a pass so you can come to my room during your free period."

"Mr. Jule I have a tutoring session already during that time." Andrew winced. "I can do it Wednesday?" Percy frowned more because Wednesday was the only time he had free time.

"That will work!" Mr. Jule scribbled on the pass and handed it Andrew to keep until Wednesday. After that he left the room, his quick steps fading shortly after that.

Andrew looked down at Percy, who was scowling. "What?" Andrew asked. Percy frowned even more. "What, Seaweed Brain?"

"You have got to stop this!" Percy suddenly jumped up and stomped away with her bag over her shoulder. Andrew followed with his back pack over both arms, he called after her before she turned and got in his face. "You keep getting new projects, and stressing yourself out! I keep telling you! Over and over! But you won't listen!"

Andrew sighed as he rubbed at his temple.

"Percy, I don't know what you're saying." Andrew rolled his eyes. The halls were empty besides them, even the rest of their friend group had headed home.

"You know exactly what I'm saying." Percy pointed up at him. "Andrew Chase, don't you give me that shit! You come to school with bags under your eyes, and scratch at your skin-yeah I know you do that! You tutor so many kids, then you have your own stuff that you're a perfectionist about!" Percy's scowl wobbled. "I'm worried Wise Guy. If you keep doing this I don't know what's going to happen."

Andrew sighed as he wrapped his arms around Percy. The black haired girl wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist and hooked her fingers around his back belt loops.

"Listen, three of the kids I'm tutoring are stopping lessons because they don't need it anymore. And I guess . . ." Andrew sighed again. "I can try and loosen up with my own work, but you know what my parents are like."

"Just. . . Bring some stuff over to my house, they don't even notice when you spend the night. You can just sleep at my place." Percy offered as she pulled back to see his face, Andrew smiled down at her.

"Fine." Andrew relented looking at Percy's baby seal eyes. "Fine, let's stop by mine and I can grab a bag." Percy smiled and grabbed Andrew's hand and dragged him to the parking lot.

"You can use the two dresser drawers I don't use." Percy chirped as she pulled out her keys for her motor cycle. Her stepmom worked at the school but he stayed after for a few hours to work everyday. Percy got on and put her bag in front of her, Andrew got on the back with his bag on his back and his arms around Percy.

"Fine." Andrew sighed, resigned to his fate.

When they pulled up to his house Percy stayed outside with the bike while Andrew ran in to get his things. Andrew was in the door when he started hearing the shouting.

One voice shouted over a phone. The voice was his father's, Athen, Andrew was a exact copy of his father, curly blonde hair with grey eyes. He even got the same mind. His father was fighting with his mother, Fiona Chase, about something over the phone. Andrew snuck upstairs before his father could see him.

After grabbing some of his clothes and putting them in a duffle bag he picked it up and headed downstairs. But his father was waiting. "What is that for?" His father's grey eyes pierced through him to his soul.

"I'm just staying at a friends house." Not saying Percy's name was good because Athen hated Percy.

"At that little shmucks house?" Athen cocked his head to the side. "I saw her out in the drive way, with that god-awful motorcycle." Athen eyed the bag in Andrew's hand. "Don't flush your life down the toilet just for a girl who isn't going anywhere in life."

Andrew tensed as he stepped down the last stair. "Percy is my bestfriend, you aren't changing that." His father's eyes flared but Andrew was already opening the door. "See you later, Dad." He spat the word like a curse.

Percy shook her head, her black hair bouncing, as Andrew slammed the door with a scowl on his face. Andrew slung his duffle bag on his back and put his back pack up front with Percy, because her bag was small and didn't have much in it. With his arms around Percy's waist they left his house.

Walking into Percy's apartment She called out to her dad that Andrew was staying for a bit. Sammy, Percy's dad, came out of the kitchen with an apron on, covered in flour and blue food coloring. "Oh good! I've been wondering when you would just end up moving in." He chuckled. Andrew went pink as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I was just making cookies, go set your stuff down and I'll bring them to you."

Percy dragged Andrew to her room then plopped down onto her bed as Andrew headed over to the dresser. "Which drawers?" Andrew asked. Percy said the bottom two. Andrew pulled them out and started putting his things up.

"If you have things to hang up I have plenty of room in my closet, I just shove most of my clothes in my dresser." Percy pointed at her closet with her foot. "And we should change into Pjs." Percy threw in as she stood up to grab clothes. Pulling out sweat pants and an old t-shirt. Andrew grabbed some things and headed to the bathroom to change.

After changing the two sat with Sammy and talked while eating cookies. Andrew and Percy watched movies and did their homework. Andrew couldn't help but smile when Percy yawned and tucked into his side during Home Alone. Both teens spent the night on the couch, but neither really cared.
