Chapter 14: Too Many Tears Shed

ZACH
I wake up to warm hands around me and everyone asleep on the couches. I guess I fell asleep or something. You fell asleep at like 7. What the heck. I didn't ask you to comment, ok? I look around and see everyone else is also asleep. Guess they got tired or something. I turn my head and realize that Jack is cuddling me. We were in a laying position and I blushed so hard that I swear it was the color of a fire truck. I tucked my head under the blanket and as soon as I shifted my body Jack fluttered his eyes open. Gosh dang it Jack. Just let him blush for second. I peek my eyes out and see him smiling at me. "What are you doing?" He chuckles. "I'm just cold." I lied. "Oh, that's all?" He whispers. He tightened his grip around me and pulled me closer to his chest. I widen my eyes at his response but cuddle into his best because he was really warm. I look back at him and he just smiles. I smile slightly and put my head on his chest again. He puts his hand on my waist and I flinch but get more comfortable and fall asleep again.

JACK
Ok, so maybe I have small itty bitty feelings for Zach. I KNEW IT! Shush, it's not a full on crush. He's just slightly cute, so chill. Close enough. Small snores escaped from his mouth indicating he was asleep. I chuckle at the sight of the small boy, curled up against my chest. It was 10 and I was pretty tired and soon, my eyes fell close.

I wake up and still feel the small boy against my chest, still sleeping. It's pretty early and I realized we had to get ready for our show today. I didn't want to get up, but I had to. I sit up and he shivers. I didn't want to, but, I did it anyways. "WAKE UP!! ITS SHOWTIME!!" I shout. Corbyn shoots up, gets up and was about to hit me but then realized I was right and immediately started getting ready. Jonah and Reese both groaned and put their heads down again. Daniel and Ryan ran over to kitchen and started making everyone cereal. The moment Zach heard the cereal pouring into a bowl, he shot up. "I hear cereal!" He says, running towards the kitchen. He snatches a bowl, pours milk, grabs a spoon and sits down, nomming on the cereal. I laugh at the boy as he surrounds the bowl with his free hand and whispers, "my precious." I chuckle once more and grab a bowl for myself and sit next to him. We finish breakfast and Zach heads upstairs. I follow him and close our door once we get in. "Now can we talk about it?" I question. He goes to the closet, picking out an outfit. "Sure, after I shower." He responds. "No, I know you, you'll avoid this until I forget, Well I'm not forgetting this time Zach. Who called that made you instantly hang up?" I ask calmly. He turns towards me and sits on the bed. He breathes in and finally says it. "My dad. He answered. "And because I was stupid enough to call his side job, he knows where we are now. He knows our current location and that's bad, no, that's horrible, there are no words to describe how I felt when he picked up the phone. I was about to break down but kept it to myself and-" I cut him off and pull him into a hug. "Why didn't you just tell me?" I ask. "I didn't want the boys hearing me." He responds blankly. Not a single tear fell from his face. "I've shed to many tears for this man and refuse to shed anymore. I'm going to take a shower. You should get ready too." He says, getting up from his spot, heading into the bathroom.

A/N: So this chapter is pretty short but i dont really care cause I NEED SLEEP! Anyways, tomorrow's will be longer. Also, if you see me updating, it's probably me just fixing my horrible spelling and grammar cause I forget to double check. Any who, this chapter was bad but yea. Good night lovelies! 💤😴🌙😘
