Lenrio laughed at her words, but didn't add anything.
"Cathryn? What's wrong with you?", Eleeza exclaimed confused, struggling against the bonds.
"First of all, do talk in Acuancela so that poor Lenrio might understand as well. Secondly, there is nothing wrong with me, but wrong with you! You tried to run away and now you lie here almost naked in your torn dress. Do you really wonder why nobody treats you nicely? Lenrio, Meino and Nioru gave us everything, they even dumped that bitch Lisa for us. But you know, you don't deserve them and their lust for you. You're just beautiful looks but nothing more."
"Cathryn!", Eleeza exclaimed and a tear ran down her cheek. She knew that Lenrio had done something to her. Except for her voice, Cathryn resembled nothing of the friend Eleeza had trusted the past weeks. That was not normal, nobody could change that fast.
"Oh Lenrio, did I tell you that she kept that mirror with which she can see? It must be in her dress pocket."
"You are a traitor. I trusted you, Cathryn!", Eleeza whispered sadly.
"Thank you, darling. That was nice to give me that information. But you may go now. Meino must be waiting impatiently for you!"
"Sure, Lenrio dear. I will miss you!" Cathryn purred and walked out of the door. Lenrio locked it again and moved to her side. He stood there in silence for a while. Eleeza could feel his eyes on her and shifted uncomfortably.
Suddenly his hands were on her, searching supposedly for the dress pocket. He found the mirror and the metallic playing ball Meino had gifted her once. That he threw in one corner of the room.
"Such a nice gift of Meino and you not only stole it, but used it for your flight. I will show you the price you must pay for that mistake." His voice was very controlled, but his rage was boiling just below. Eleeza could feel it.
Suddenly the ropes pulled her painfully up in a sitting position and she screamed a bit being very surprised. Lenrio took hold of one of her hands and forced the mirror in it. An image of her face with wild hair, small scratches and dirt of her flight all over appeared in her mind. Streaks of glimmering tears were visible. But she was totally captured by her unnatural eyes. They indeed were like glowing silver. She stared at them, finally understanding all descriptions Evan had given her over time. They were so strange that she realized why everybody was so keen to keep them hidden.
"Now you know, why I will have you always wear a blindfold."
After that statement Lenrio turned the mirror around. The sharpness of the edges cut in her skin and made her wince in pain.
The fragment now showed a man. As his silky voice had already revealed to her, he was a handsome male. Not very tall, yet he was domineering in his very appearance. She guessed that he used his good looks and broad shoulders much to his advantage.
He wasn't as young as Meino, his greasy hair had the shade of heavy clouds in a storm. His eyes were like flashes of a sword coming down on you. His gaze was very forward, his eyes never swayed to left but fixed something in front of them, supposedly herself. She shivered and concentrated on his face. His grey eyes were red underneath, whether from screaming earlier or maybe the lack of sleep, Eleeza couldn't tell. Small lips pressed together with the hint of a smile, opened now:
"As much as you must enjoy looking at my exceptionally handsome self, I am not in a mood to give you that kind of pleasure any longer."
Out of nowhere a sword appeared. Swung by Lenrio's muscular hand it flung forcefully towards her window of vision. She screamed in anticipation of being hit, but only her vision scattered. Everything went silver again, as the small pieces of the mirror went flying through the room.
