She was getting slimmer, her hair was growing longer, her skin got even smoother, her back straightened and then he squinted very hard. Strange things seemed to form over her back, blue and silver lines chased across it. Suddenly two dragonfly like wings rose from it. The shimmering in the air stopped, only a slight shine remained on her skin. Slowly she turned towards him.

He gasped, in front of him stood an unworldly beautiful girl! Was... could this be his Girl? Such delicate features, those beautiful deep blue eyes and that simply perfect body... was that even possible? The man in him wanted her, wanted her badly, wanted to touch every single part of that perfectly soft skin that gleamed in the light. Her white shift dress laid tight on her beautiful curves.

And then: her face! He could hardly believe that it was real. All her features were perfectly harmonized, but her full, light red lips drew his attention most. She smiled at him. A magnificent smile that disarmed him in the very second. It seemed like a ray of sunshine in a winters day and he couldn't help to return her smile, feeling like an idiot.

He couldn't describe her better than to say, that she was radiating beauty like the stars radiated light.

Looking closer he could still make out a bit of the Girl he knew but she was just way more beautiful. This was the biggest contrast to her ugly mask possible. Without she had been a very attractive and lovely girl, whereby none of the strains of her work had ever been able to change that. The transformation now was nonetheless considerable. Every blemish and every taint had vanished. He was intimidated by her beauty, he admitted to himself. Suddenly he heard flattering and the two wings appeared over her shoulders.

"This is what I am", she simply said, even her voice sounded more beautiful. It had always been one of the most silky and melodious voices he had ever heard. He had not believed that there was a voice sounding even sweeter than that, but there evidently was. Still he could hear a bit of fear in her words. He came closer to her, lifted his hand and stroke those knew delicate features which were known to him and yet new.

"Yes, it is you." he murmured than he bent down and kissed her on those inviting lips.

Pleasure exploded in him, he wanted her, wanted her so much!

"I love you!"

He saw her face brighten up. Her lips turned to a wide smile, that he believed could make anyone fall in love with her in a blink of an eye. Then she laughed and embraced him.

"I love you, too." she replied, which gave him immense pleasure. Then she pulled away from him and danced over the grass in the silver moon-light with unbelievable grace. He stared at her and could not believe that she was real and that she belonged to him.

He called out to her: "Girl, may I know your real name now?"

He had asked her this question a lot of times and her answer had always been that it was not yet time. Now though she danced towards him, tip-toed and whispered sweetly into his ear:

"My name is Zeleenimeeveleeliluleleeza"

He looked at her a bit confused. She laughed and took his hand: "Well, it is in my mother's language, Acuandela. We only have very long words."

"But how shall I call you? I cannot call you Girl, now that I know who you really are."

"Eleeza", she said in a gentle voice. He pulled her in his arms and said out loud: "I love you, Eleeza!", then he kissed her.

Eleeza was happy, so unbelievably happy! Evan was the best that had ever happened to her. Oh, and when he kissed her, kissed her on her own, real lips! She pressed herself on his strong body as close as possible. With her hands, she reached for his soft, dark brown dreads.

His hands moved as well, endlessly soft and gentle down from her head to her shoulders. When he wanted to pet over her back he, by mistake, scratched one of her wings. She yelped, pain radiating though her wing, stepping out of his arms.

"I am so sorry. I, I just forgot about your... wings." he stammered feeling terribly foolish.

"It's okay Evan. It's okay. They are just very vulnerable. Do not blame yourself, how could you get used to them in such a short time? No. I am to blame, I should have folded them. I just like having them loose because I have them folded all day." she explained, while her wings folded and now lay tight on her back.

Looking at her, he was again stunned by her immense beauty. The long hair glowed in the light of the distant moon like flowing silver and her skin shimmered tenderly. He felt very bad for hurting her. He took her hands, being very gentle and careful: "I am sorry I hurt you, Eleeza."

She smiled a warm, irresistible smile when she heard her name, or at least parts of her name. Encouraged by this smile he asked her: "Are you able to fly?"

She nodded, unfolded her wings and stepped back. Her wings beat up and down, faster by every second. Her body got tight and then with a mischievously smile at him she leaped up in the air, faster than he had imagined. Amazed he watched her as she flew a looping and came back to him.

"You seem like a dream..." he said not saying his thoughts out loud. She just smiled, and landed gracefully on the grass. Then she folded her wings. With a look to the moon she sighed: "It's time again"

The air around her shimmered and sparkled again, her wings disappeared and her body changed. After that she put on the mask and he watched it as it gleamed and magically connected to her face until it seemed to be her very skin. The witches had added a wig to it after a week, covering her almost silver flood of hair with straw brown hair.

It always made him sad to see her like this, especially after he knew now what she actually looked like. But he also got more relaxed. That was how he knew her. Seeing her in her real form had made him almost speechless while he could not believe what he saw. Not that he preferred the mask over her actual looks. But now he was easy again.

She looked at him, with her ugly face. She always seemed a bit ashamed after she changed, even though she knew that he had always been able to look behind the mask. She stepped towards him.

"Different, is it not?" she said, sounding very sad. He lifted her now big and unformed chin and looked into her dark blue eyes. "Yes, but I still love you." She smiled, got hold of his hand and they made their way back to his room.
