Chapter 8

Hyuna's P.O.V

I yawned, scrunching my face with eyes closed. I'm so sleepy. I open my left eye, looking at the time. Ah. 7 am. What the heck? I yawned again. Pulling my blanket, covering my body, wanting to back to sleep.

I cover my eyes, hugging a pillow under the blanket. My phone rings. Tsk! I grab my phone that was on my nightstand. "Hello?" - i answered with my sleepy voice.

"Is this Hyuna?" - a man asked. I frown a little.

"Who is this?" - i asked back.

"Daniel Kim." - he said. I paused.

"Ahh ah Daniel. Yes this is Hyuna. How'd you get my number?" - i asked. I don't remember giving him my number.

"I asked your university friends. Plus i was waiting for your call, like 3 weeks ago. But I didn't receive any." - he said. I face palmed myself. That paper, where he wrote his number, i lost it.

Maybe I accidentally threw it along with the other rubbish. "I'm sorry, Daniel. I lost the paper." - i said, honestly.

He laughed. "It's okay. So, i thought of asking you to have breakfast?" - he asked. I look at the time. I let out a silent sigh.

"Daniel, I'd love to. But I'm very tired. I have to work at night. So i need tons of rest. I hope you understand." - i said. Feeling all the guilt on me.

"Oh really? I see. It's okay. I understand. Next time?" - he asked.

"Yeah next time. Sorry Daniel." - i said, letting out a soft sigh.

"It's okay~ see you." - he said and we ended the call. I put my phone back to the nightstand.

"Yaaaa!" - i heard someone said as my door opens. It was eomma.

"What eomma?" - i asked.

"I heard the conversation. Aish, why didn't you say yes?" - she asked. Oh god eommaaaa..

"You heard the conversation. You should hear my reason, eomma." - i said. She walk forward and hit my arm.

"Ah eomma! What's with that?" - i screamed in pain, caressing my arm.

"Is it difficult to get a boyfriend?" - she asked.

"What? You wanna find a new one?" - i asked, making a small smirk. She hit my arm again, making me scream again.

"Aish. No. It's for you." - she said.

I nod slightly. "Eomma, we went through this." - i said with a sigh. She sighed.

"I know. I care for you, that's why. It's for your future too." - she said.

"I understand that. I did promise you to find your future son-in-law by the end of the year." - i said. She caress my head. She nod with a small smile.

"Okay! Now go back to sleep!" - she said loudly and hit my arm again.

"Ah eomma!!!" - i screamed as she laughs, leaving my room. I lay down again, pulling my blanket and close my eyes.

Fast forward...

I'm at a shoot set. For VTCosmetics. It's 8 pm and I've yet eaten my dinner. I yawned, while checking some stuff. I saw some sweets, so i take a few, and place them in my pocket. To somehow keep me away from being sleepy, I'll eat one by one.

The set is done. But the boys are still getting ready. So i decided to walk around. I told one of the staff that I'm walking around. So i just went to the stylist unnie, and talk to them. To not bore me.
