"Cora."
Andy's voice surrounded me, but I couldn't open my eyes. I felt his cold hand on mine as I tried to make myself open my eyes.
My eyes finally opened, just as Andy leaned in to kiss my cheek.
"Hi." I croaked, my eyes fluttering.
I was in a white room. I sat up slightly, ignoring Andy as he tried to push me back down. I felt a tug in my arm as the IV pulled against me.
"You brought me to a hospital?" What was up with my voice?
"Of course. When I found you, you were out cold and covered in blood. What the fuck happened to you, baby?"
I closed my eyes. "Don't worry about it."
He opened his mouth to object, but the door opened before he could say anything.
"Okay," A white haired doctor began. "You're gonna be just fine. You'll need to stay over night just to be sure, but you can leave first thing in the morning. Oh! And we did some X-Rays, and your baby is perfectly fine!"
Andy turned quickly to face the doctor. "Baby?"
I groaned, closing my eyes and laying back against the bed.
"Cora?"
"What?" I snapped.
"Ar-Are you pregnant?"
I nodded, sitting up and opening my eyes.
"Why would you keep this from me?"
I sighed. "I didn't keep anything from you. I never got the chance to tell you."
He sat down on the edge of the hospital bed, moving closely to me. He touched his nose to mine and sighed. "I love you."
"Are you mad?" I whispered, looking into his gorgeous blue eyes.
"Cora, how could I be mad at you about this?" He brushed my hair behind my ear and smiled.
"I should have told you as soon as I realized I was late."
He grabbed my chin lightly, pulling my face up to level with his.
"I love you, you know that. If I didn't love you, I wouldn't have asked you to marry me. I could never be mad about you being pregnant. I'm insanely happy." He kissed me. "I love you." He repeated.
"I love you, too." I smiled.
"Now," he said, taking my hand. "Tell me what happened to you."
