"I'm really glad you're okay, Cora." Ben said, wrapping his arms tigher around me. Andy was at the studio, working on Black Veil Brides' new record. Ben had agreed to 'babysit' me while Andy was working, and it wasn't too bad, I had to admit. I had decided to lay down, and Ben didn't want to leave me by myself, so he layed down with me. I sighed.

I rolled over, laying my head on one of my best friend's chest and laughing wildly.

"What?" Ben asked, chuckling.

"People who don't know us would swear we're dating." I said quietly, yawning.

He laughed. "Go to sleep."

I drifted in and out of consciousness, listening to the TV flick on and off, and the gentle noises of Ben's iPhone. He would ocassionally stroke my hair or my back, and I would smile. He was a great friend.

"Hello?" Ben said quietly. I got still, listening. "Oh, hey. Yeah, she's fine, taking a nap. I'm in here with her, of course. Whoa, Andy, chill, you know we're just friends." He sighed. "Whatever. As soon as you get back, I'm gone."  He tossed his phone down on the bed and sighed angrily.

I tilted my head up and looked at him. "What's wrong?" I asked quietly.

"I thought you were asleep." He looked down at me, forcing an obviously fake smile.

"What's wrong?" I asked again, sitting up, wincing at the pain it caused.

"It's nothing, Andy's just stressed right now. Everything's fine."

"You said you were leaving." I whispered, looking at him with a confused expression.

"Andy wants me to leave, so I'm gonna leave." He brushed a strand of hair behind my ear and gave me another fake smile.

"I don't want you to go."

He laughed quietly, standing up and stretching. "Do you think Andy will mind if I take a quick shower here? I'm supposed to be meeting with a representative from our record label today, don't wanna smell."

"Go ahead." I answered, playing with a loose string on the soft comforter. Once he was in the bathroom, and hopped out of the bed as quickly as I could, ignoring the searing pain that erupted in my side. I walked into the living room, grabbing my cell phone off the coffee table and dialing Andy's number.

"Hello?" Andy's sweet voice answered, and I almost lost all of the anger I had built up. Almost.

"What did you say to Ben?"

"Cora? I thought you were taking a nap."

"I was, but I woke up. Now tell me what you said to Ben."

He sighed. "I just told him to back off, okay?"

I exploded. "Back off from doing what? Being a good friend? You had no right to say that to him, Andy!"

I hung up, tossing the phone back down on the coffee table and sighing. I walked outside, feeling the warm air against my freezing cold skin. I walked to the mailbox, opening it up and pulling out a pink envelope addressed to Andy.

From Juliet.
