"Call me if you need anything, okay? I'll be here as soon as I can, regardless of who wants me here or not." Ben said quietly, leaning down to give me a hug. "Bye, doll."

He left, leaving my to deal with a very pouty Andy. The letter from Juliet had been nothing more than a congratulations on the engagement. I'd shoved it into his hands as soon as he walked in the door, and he'd opened it right there and read it out loud.

I sat down on the couch next to Andy, refusing him when he tried to pull me on his lap.

"You're still mad?" He asked.

"Of course I'm still mad, Andy!" I shouted at him. "You know that Ben and I are nothing but friends!"

He closed his eyes. "Cora, I almost lost you with Ricky, and I don-"

"You did not almost lose me." I cut in. "I was yours the entire time. I'm always going to be yours, whether you want me or not."

He grinned. "Well, I'm always going to want you."

He tried to pull me on to his lap again but this time I let him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He kissed my neck and wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me closely against him.

"I love you." He muttered, pressing his lips against mine.

"I love you, too." I giggled as the words came out, sounding very slurred from against his mouth.

I felt his phone buzz in his pocket against my leg and I crawled off his lap as he pulled it out.

"Hello?" He said, trying not to laugh as I made funny faces at him. His eyes then got wide and he got very serious. "Whoa, Jinxx, calm down. What hospital is she in?" I felt my stomach drop. "Okay, we're on our way." He stuffed his phone back in his pocket and stood up swiftly.

"Sammi?" I asked quietly.

"She's been taken to the emergency room. Jinxx doesn't know what's wrong with her. Get dressed, we're going to the hospital."

I ran as quickly as I could into our room, throwing on a random pair of black skinny jeans and a hoodie, pulling my Vans onto my feet and running back into the living room, where Andy was already out the door.

The car ride was silent. Andy sped the whole way, as I looked out for cops. We swung into the hospital and Andy let me out at the door. CC was sitting against the wall smoking. He jumped up and ran over to me, picking me up gently and hugging me tightly. By then Andy had the car parked and was running over towards us. CC led the way down the long halls to the Emergency Ward. We caught sight of Jake, Ella, and Ashley standing outside of a room.

"How is she?" Andy asked, making eye contact with all of them.

Ella was the first to speak. "Not good." The tears in her eyes were hard to miss. I walked over to her slowly and hugged her, feeling tears swim into my eyes as she broke down. Jake grabbed her waist gently and pulled her into him.

"What happened?" I asked Ashley quietly, wiping my eyes.

"The doctor said she'd been fighting an infection for about three weeks. She thought she just had a little cold, but it was a lot worse than she thought." He looked at the ground. "She had a miscarriage."

I fell to the ground right in front of him, pulling my knees to my chest and letting out a sob. Andy ran over to me and sat down next to me, pulling me close to him, and not just letting me cry, but crying with me. We were all crying by then, even CC, who was never serious about anything.

The door of the room opened and Andy and I stood up, wiping our eyes. Jinxx came out, the rims of his eyes red.

"Cora, thank God you're here." He said, moving to stand next to Andy. "Sammi's been asking for you." His voice cracked.

I wiped my eyes quickly, moving slowly towards the door and pushing against the heavy wood. I walked inside the hospital room, seeing Sammi sitting calmly on the bed.

As soon as she saw me, she started crying.

I ran over to her, sitting down on the bed next to her and wrapping my arms around her, feelings tears flood from my eyes as well.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry..." I repeated over and over, in between sobs. We cried for hours. At some point, Jinxx came back in the room and cried with us for what felt like an eternity.

After a while, all three of us stopped crying. Just like that. One second, we're crying, and then the next, we're not.

Sammi sighed, smoothing the hospital blanket over her legs. "I'll be okay." She said quietly, smiling a small smile.

I gave her one last hug, gripping her tightly, before walking back out into the hallway to Andy.
