Chapter 18

Second Chance

After years of studying hard, I am so happy that it's finally done. Thesis, research, narrative reports, and documentation all done. Finally!. We are now head our road going to the SMX Convention center wherein our venue for our graduation ceremony. I am with mom and dad and Manong Aldo of course as our driver. Mario is with his parents too they are just behind our car.

Medjo maaga ang call time for our graduation pero okay lang naman kasi nakapagpahinga ako nang maayos so I have an energy for this day.

"Here we are", mom sounds so excited

"Careful darling" pagalala naman ni daddy

I just smile a bit sa reaction ni mommy. Nakapark na rin sa tabi namin ang sasakyan nila Mario. I just check my things and I am ready to go out of the car. I am wearing my champagne v-cut dress with a backless bow, not chiffon. I am summa cum laude that is why mom chose this beautiful dress for me. Proud mama indeed.

When I am out of the car medjo naiinip pa akong naghihintay na lumabas ang mokong sa sasakyan nila. This morning hindi na akong nagabala pang itext or tawagan sya iniisip ko din kasi na abala sya for our graduation day. At ito namang mokong hindi rin nagparamdam sa akin. Nakakaasar.

While waiting for them I checked the girls kung nasaan na sila and they are all inside samantalang kame ito naghihintay....Haaaay! why they took so long?

"Mom? ang init na oh, matagal pa ba kayo?", iritado na ako

A cold and massive hand place around my waist. Parang may kung anong malamig na hangin ang yumakap sa akin. I closed my eyes and cranked my neck.

"Why my baby is so irritated today? Are you in your period?", he whispered gently on my ear

Hinampas ko na, "Hindi sa akin tatalab ang pagigigng manyak mo Mario"

"Excuse me?"

"Bakit totoo naman ah"

" You want me to try? huh!?"

"See? Pervert"

He looks at me from head to toe then bites his lower lip. I felt the intense heat on my face kaya bigla akong nagiwas ng tingin sakanya. I want to change the subject. Ayaw ko ng ganitong pakiramdam.

"Bakit kasi ang tagal mo sa loob ng sasakyan?" kunot noo ko syang tiningnan "Paimportante tssssk" sabay irap

I don't know why pero isang tawa nya palang para akong nanghihina.

Seeing his white and complete teeth plus his thin reddish lips I want to taste it, I want them all mine now. Hala! Kaloka ka Angel!

"I know that look baby" napalunok nalang ako ng laway " you want my kiss? pwede naman, maybe it will serve as my graduation gift?"

All of a sudden bigla akong nahiya sa narinig. Kasi totoo naman. This man can really read my mind.

" Cheeee!...not an excuse as a magna cum laude" tinalikuran ko na agad sya at doon mas nakahinga ako ng maluwag

"damn girl," I said to myself

The graduation ceremony went successfully. Tita Roanna invited us to celebrate at their house well, kahit may lakad kame ni, Mario, the next day for a trip pumayag narin sila mommy and daddy. This is a nice get together after all the hectic schedules they always have.

" Finally nakagraduate na ang mga bata, I am so proud to the both of you" si mommy sabay halik sa pisngi ko ang ni Mario

"So, maybe this is also a welcome party to the real world hija and hijo?" Tito Mariano suggested
