Chapter 17: Decided

Dale's Point of View~

No work. I'm just chillin' at my room. I'm already done with my morning routine. Workout, breakfast, everything.

I just watch TV almost the whole day. I guess I'll just end up my day with nothing special happenings.

I went out of my unit and directly walked my way to the rooftop of the building.

I usually watch the sunset here. It's just 4:15 in the afternoon and I'll be staying here to witness today's sunset.

I looked around.

Her eyes.

Her smile.

Her laugh.

Her voice.

Her presence.

I think I already miss her so god damn much.

I took pictures with the view. I wonder how this place could give me chills.

I stopped taking pictures when I saw Abigail's incoming call.

Why would she call me? Problem? Something important to tell?

I answered her call. "Hello. Abi?"

"Yes, this is me."

"Why'd you call?"

"Let's meet."

Call ended.

Is this the day I've been waiting?

I immediately went back to my unit and change clothes.

She texted me where we'll meet and so I went there.

--

It's been 5 minutes since I came here. I looked around. Maybe she's on her way here.

I looked at the door and there she is, looking so gorgeous. She's wearing white slacks, white fitted shirt, blue blazers and black doll shoes.

She's looking around the venue, or should I say, she's looking for me at the venue.

She looked at my way, I saw her smile.

"I'll skip the introduction and get straight to the point," she said.

I chuckled. I know this is it.

My heart is skipping a beat.

I lift my head and meet her eyes. "Let's go to the conclusion. I'm glad that I waited." She's really worth waiting for. "Thank you for coming to me."

"I didn't say anything though," she smirked.

"You don't have to say it. Why would you dress up so nice if it weren't for me? You chose me." I said confidently.

She grabbed the chair and sat. "That's right." she smiled so wide. "Thank you for waiting."

"Keep your eyes only on me from now on," I warned. "Does this mean that you are mine now? That I own you now?" I giggled.

 She smiled and nodded.

Abigail's Point of View~

We're going on a date now. I'm almost done preparing when my phone vibrated.

It's him.

I answered the call.

"Are you on your way?" he asked excitedly.

"Not yet, but I'm leaving now."

"Can't wait to see you Love."

"Okay. See you later."

Call ended.

I sprayed perfume on my wrist and took my phone and my bag.

I took taxi. I leaned on the headrest and watched the view outside.

My phone vibrated again but this time it's not Dale who's calling.

I answered the call, "Hello? What? Hospital?"

"This is Laurence Lee's phone. Can you come here?" I can hear panic in the person's voice from the other line.

"What happened?"

"He was rushed into the hospital. He got into a car accident."

I was shocked. I don't know what to do. "Please stop the car," I commanded the driver.

He stopped the car, "Bababa ka ba dito?"

I don't know. Dale will be waiting for me. Laurence needs my comfort.

"Miss? Ano? Tuloy ka pa ba sa pupuntahan mo?" the driver asked.

Dale's Point of View~

It's two months of being officially together with my girl. I'm here at the venue. I'm waiting for more than 30 minutes.

Where is she at this time?

I just smiled and think of some happy moments with her. I must be the most lucky guy because I have her.

Later, I saw her walking towards me.

"Why did you come so late?" I pouted. "I was worried. I was about to call you."

"There was a heavy traffic," she explained. "Did you worry about me?" she smiled.

" I'll forgive since you're pretty." I giggled and winked. She chuckled. "What do you want to eat?" I asked.

"What should we eat?"

"Is there anything you want?"

"You." she giggled.
