Chapter 1: First Step

No one's pov

Jungkook has returned to his mansion from his 12 years of training to become an assassin after he was been taken away to a remoted place from home. And he happened to be so young for his age to become a pro assassin in the age of 15.

"Jeon Jungkook, welcome home. You may now meet your family."

Jungkook looked back at his own house and thought that, "Oh how long did I left this house for good? It still hadn't changed one a bit." Said jungkook, sounded happy that he got to see his family again after that 12 years of training.

He entered to his house and only been greeted by his big brother, Jeon Junghyun.

"Hello Jungkookie. Do you still remember me?" As he opened his arms and asked for a hug.

Jungkook's eyes widened as he ran to his brother's arms and hugged him, "Junghyun hyung! Of course I remember you! How could I forgot about you? I miss you so much." Tears almost welled up on the corner of jungkook's eyes and junghyun smiled.

"Yah my little jungkookie, don't cry. As an assassin, you shouldn't be a crybaby." Junghyun patted jungkook's back and wiped his tears from his eyes.

Jungkook's pov

I was surprised that I saw my big brother stood infront of me with a smile on his face and welcomed me home. I hugged him and I almost cried but he wiped my tears away from my eyes and told that I was a crybaby. Who wouldn't be so emotional after I was gone for training and didn't see my family for years?

I looked around and only saw none other than hyungie greeted me. Where are the others though?

"Hyungie, where's mom and dad?" I asked him with a questioning look.

"Oh sorry jungkookie. Mom and dad were out to overseas."

"Why did you say sorry for?"

"Well I thought you were going to be sad from hearing that they are not here."

"I'm fine anyway. I know they are doing their jobs so I'm not going to go against it."

"Wow my little jungkookie is already mature." He said and hugged me so tightly and felt that he was babying me.

"Hyung, stop it. I'm not a baby anymore!"

"Right, I take back my words. You're still a kid."

"What?" And a few seconds after that, I realised that I didn't ask one more question and that I was been waiting for so long actually to ask hyung right after I came back here.

"Hyungie?..Where's Ggukie?" I asked him since I wondered why he didn't come back home at the same time with me today.

"Ohh! You still remember your elder twin! Did you care your twin so much instead of me?" He said with a puppy eyes until I thought why he had to be my big brother in this family.

"Hyung! He's my twin. Of course I care about him. And I care both of you guys equally." Well actually no. I was more into Ggukie though because long ago, before we had been separated, we two were really closed and liked to play with each other. Let's just say I admired my own twin.

"It's nice to hear that. So I wanted to say, welcome into this cruel world." Hyungie said with a happy face.

"Cruel world? Really?" I said and we both laughed.

"Not really but maybe. Now, you're going to start a couple of missions to do today. I was amazed by your skills and abilities that you were already mastered to become an assassin so early! So I won't be hesitate to give you the hard one. You're now an assassin so don't be afraid to face challenges. You don't mind doing this today, jungkookie?"

"Of course! Give me the missions. I dare to finish it on time!" I said, feeling so excited that I could assassinate peoples.

"Hey now. I know you're already a pro assassin but that doesn't mean you can be too cocky jungkookie."

"I'm not. I'm just feeling so excited that's all." My eyes filled with sparkles and hyungie just let out a sighed.

"Right. There's no deadline for your missions. But if you can finish it more early, you have an extra reward."

"From who?"

"Me."

"What's the extra reward?"

"Well what do you want? Money?" He asked with a grinned.

"No I don't need money since mom and dad already supplied us with those things." Hyungie was shocked as he heard on what am I saying.

"I thought kids nowadays like to have money but you are different. Then what do you want?" He asked.

"Hmm...food?"

"You want food? Okay then."

Without thinking any longer, I decided to end this conversation because I knew if I talked with hyungie like this, it will take for couple of hours to finish our conversation.

"So hyungie, can I go now?"

"Of course you can. Now shoo. Do your missions properly." He said and waved at me before I went out from the mansion again. Geez, he was shooing me just now, was that how big brother cared for his little brother? I sighed.

I started to take a first step on doing my first mission.

"C'mon jungkook, you better show the world who's the pro one." I whispered to myself and looked up at the sky.

Inhales..

Exhales..

"Let's do this."
