Chapter 29: Safe And Sound

After all of the incidents happened on jungkook, it finally ended with heaps of relieve because they already got jungkook back with them.

Jungkook was sent to the hospital. The bangtan and junghyun accompanied the younger to the hospital while jeongguk stayed back at the hall to clean all of those 'mess' and he will be seeing jungkook after he finish his duty.

Jungkook was badly injured. Though he was unconscious right now but the bangtan was still waiting for him to gain his conscious back and be able to recover completely after his treatment.

Six of them felt weird about the hospital was receiving jungkook to get his treatment. Usually, or the actual rules in this local area including the hospital didn't want to take the assassins for their treatment as they were still an assassin, as in they were still a criminal.

But due to junghyun's explanation about how desperate sometimes assassins could have be to have some treatment, they would have pay a huge sum of money to the hospital to show that they needed the treatment so badly which junghyun used this kind of idea right now for the sake of jungkook's life.

Jungkook was in his ward room, together with the bangtan and junghyun. The younger's body was already been aid by the paramedics. His body was been covered with bandages and plasters, his face and other parts of his body were still swollen and left marks of purple bruises.

All of them looked at every inch on jungkook's physical appearances. They all felt bad and depressed that jungkook could still survived from that deadly torture. They felt disgusted of themselves for leaving jungkook in that hellish place for too long that they didn't realised he was suffering in agony.

But they never knew that jungkook had thought of them to stay safe instead of him..

It was depressing too because jungkook will never going to tell them that he was actually worried about his hyungs more than him and this feelings.. he will only keep it to himself..

Junghyun took a chair and sat beside jungkook's bed while the others were standing infront of the bed and some stood beside the bed. Namjoon looked at jungkook and had remembered something to ask to the elder.

"Junghyun..hyung?" Namjoon felt embarrased on calling him that but junghyun chuckled.

"Just call me junghyun if you don't mind." Junghyun said and namjoon nodded although it sounded rude to him.

"Anyway, you might be wondering why I'm asking you this but I never knew that jungkook has a twin." Namjoon confessed and this made junghyun closed his eyes and sighed.

"And you want me to tell you what?"

"About his twin of course."

"That's a long story." Junghyun crossed his arms.

"Make it short."

"Hmm..well jeongguk.." junghyun spoke in a slow-mo tone and the bangtan stepped in closer to him, wanting to know what he would say next.

"He's a brat." Junghyun continued. The others' jaws dropped. He only said that?

"Too short!!!" Namjoon exclaimed and jhope shook his head. He remembered about jungkook couldn't make a story short because the younger thought that all of the points were important. Then junghyun could make a story short but he was making it too short. There was this type of similar attitudes in the family.

Not so long after that, jeongguk came in with a handkerchief on his hand, cleaning his both hands with it. Jungkook's twin indeed. They both have same habit which was cleaning their hands with a handkerchief after doing the filthy jobs.

"I expect you're talking bad about me junghyun." Jeongguk said as he went on the other side of the bed after he took a chair and sat there. Junghyun glared at him.

"I expect for you to greet your big brother more politely after seeing me again." Junghyun shot back and jeongguk smirked.

"You know I'm not that kind of person."

"Why you have became more bratty than you are before."

"People changed."

"Because of?" Junghyun narrowed his eyes to the younger.

"You." Jeongguk replied causing junghyun fell into silence. Once again the tension was heavy and namjoon coughed. "We're supposed to visit jungkook properly and making a fuss infront of him was pretty depressing for me."

Jeongguk and junghyun understood and they stopped before jhope saw the slightest movement of jungkook's hand. He squealed causing the others darted their eyes on him.

"J-j-j-j-j-jung-k-k-kook!!!!" Jhope stuttered as his eyes became teary. Their eyes moved to jungkook and the younger slowly opened up his eyes with his breathe that still shallow.

Kookie!

Jungkook slowly turned his eyes to jeongguk before his eyes widened. He put his hand on the air towards jeongguk, wanting him to touch his own twin but he couldn't reach. Jeongguk looked at the younger with soft eyes as he placed his hands on jungkook.

Kookie.. I'm back

Do you remember me now?

Jeongguk smiled when he did the telepathy with him. Jungkook couldn't help but cried as he finally met jeongguk again but at the same time, his head was also throbbing but he didn't care.

"You're..back.." jungkook sobbed as he couldn't believe that his twin was back and now he was infront of him.

Do you still remember about your
past?

"Not quite.." jungkook answered in a whisper. The others found out that those two did the telepathy together, well mostly from jeongguk and were curious about what kind of conversation that they were in.

Is it fine if I tell them?

Jungkook thought carefully before he nodded in acceptance about it. At least he wanted to remember more about his past again. It seems that he forgot most of his past where he got the tragedy on becoming a 'monster'.

"Alright." Jeongguk inhaled before he looked back to the others. "So you guys might be wondering why kookie sometimes snapped and became insane after that." And all of them nodded as they also felt that jeongguk was going to tell them everything.

"Are you sure you can tell us about this?" Yoongi asked.

Jeongguk took a glance at junghyun and continued to talk. "Kookie and I are fine with this but the ones who is going to feel sensitive about this is junghyun."

Junghyun couldn't deny. He still remembered about jungkook's tragedy at that time but he didn't know the full story. "No. Just tell us about what was happening back then." Junghyun huffed.

"Are you sure?" Jeongguk asked.

Junghyun looked at jungkook who was now badly injured and laid like a weak person on the bed. He didn't want to see the younger hurt anymore. He really likes jungkook and knows everything about him except that unforgettable tragedy that had happened upon him.

The bangtan wanted to know about their past too so junghyun didn't want to be left out from the story. He had no choice but to know the whole story from jeongguk.

"I'm sure." Junghyun replied. The bangtan was ready to listen about their past. They wanted to know about jungkook.

"Okay. The story was like this..."

Ok maybe..next chapter will going to tell you guys about their past(?)
