Chapter 10: Death Came By

So I just decided to update a new short chapter for y'all.

It was around 7.00 pm that jungkook went back home and saw junghyun had serious face and mumbling all alone by himself. It looks like something bad happened when jungkook wasn't at home.

Jungkook became curious and it was rare to see junghyun acting this weird. He then approached to him and pulled from the hem of his shirt. Junghyun gasped and he turned around, almost hit jungkook on the face but good thing jungkook was able to dodge from the sudden attack.

"Hyungie?" Jungkook asked while seeing junghyun felt calmed once again after knowing that jungkook was back to his sight. The elder said sorry to jungkook for almost hitting him but jungkook was wondering why junghyun was feeling this kind of scared.

Junghyun sighed before he looked jungkook in the eye. "..Your father died.." He slowly spoke. It took some time to process the younger's mind on what could have happened to their father. He fell into a deep silent and he got that twisted feels on his stomach as if he wanted to vomit.

The elder told everything to jungkook. There were an assassins been sent to their father's place and unfortunately, due to the small amount of bodyguards guarding their father, it was no objection that their father is dead from lack of defense. Maybe it was a threat from them too. They tried to lure the Jeon family out by killing the Jeon members one by one.

Jungkook couldn't say if he really felt glad born in Jeon family or not. Making a lot of enemies are just the same like making a lot of hullabaloo. Although he was an assassin, it was tiring too when you have to deal all of their shits.

Jungkook didn't cry after he heard about his father died. He accepted his death but that doesn't mean he forgive to those who killed their father.

He walked to his bedroom before he flopped onto his bed and buried his face on his pillow.

I just met a new friend today but now dad left me. I newly returned to home and didn't got to see my mom and dad's face yet..

I guess happiness couldn't last even for one day..

So this is life..

Suddenly, jungkook's phone buzzed. When he looked at the person's name on the screen, it was 'Hobi hyung'. He picked up the calls and was happy to hear jhope's voice from the other side.

"Hey! Sorry to disturb you but I forgot to ask your name." Jhope laughed. At least jungkook could throw away his bad mood from just hearing his laugh.

"Oh I didn't realised about it. Well, I'm..jungkook." He replied, didn't want to mention his full name since jhope was already know about it. So telling him that he was from Jeon family was a no-need.

"Okay thanks! By the way, you sound so..tired.. Is there something bad happened to you?" Jhope said as he felt concerned about the younger. Jungkook could only formed a weak smile.

"Yeah hyung.. Everything's fine."

"Oh.. Well tell me if you have any problems that you wanted to confess to." Jhope didn't want to force the younger to spit everything out because that's just make the younger became more stressed about it.

"..Okay thanks hyung.. Goodnight."

"Goodnight too Jk." Jhope said before he hung up the phone calls. Jungkook didn't used to it when jhope called him 'Jk'. It was the first time he heard someone was calling him with just a simple and yet, short name for him but he didn't argue. Somehow he likes it.

He got up to take a shower and changed himself into pyjamas before he went to sleep.

Jungkook was awake because he thought he heard such a familiar voice in his mind just now or was it only him? He slowly drifted back to sleep. His eyelids were heavy. The best cure of all is sleep if you felt tired.

Kookie... I'll be back in no time
