Chapter 30: The Twins' Past

Jungkook and jeongguk were 6 years old and junghyun was 13

Flashback

"Junghyun." Mrs Jeon called as she went to the living room and met junghyun in there. He was in the middle playing his laptop and hacking things but immediately stopped after his mom went in to see him.

"Yeah mom?"

"You should go play with your brothers or you can keep your eye on them while they are playing with each other in the backyard."

"But dad is with them right? So why should I go?"

"Your dad and I have a work to do after this so you're going to replace him." Mrs jeon said and junghyun groaned. "Fine, I'll go." He said as he stood up and headed out from the living room.

The twins were running around in the garden on their backyard, playing tags while their dad was watching them from the balcony.

Jungkook was searching for jeongguk. He became the demon of the tag and jeongguk had to hide from him. The elder twin hid inside the bushes as he watched the younger wandered off around the garden.

"Ggukie, you know you can't hide from the demon~" jungkook said before he gestured to his dad and his dad pointed to one of the bushes that jeongguk hid in.

Jungkook formed a sly smirk as he slowly sneaked to the bushes from behind and saw jeongguk hid in there. He jumped off on top of jeongguk causing the elder to fall down onto the ground and got tickled by jungkook.

"Wo-ahahahh! S-stop it kookie!" Jeongguk laughed in tears and jungkook reached his hand on jeongguk's forehead and poked his index on it. "Tag your it." Jungkook giggled as he flashed his bunny smile to him. The elder really adored the younger so much. He ruffled jungkook's hair before he stood up. "Okay okay, you win."

Mr jeon called them right after they finished playing tags and the twins were rushing to him as they knew he wanted to tell tales to them.

"Do you kids wanted to know about your great grandfather?" Mr jeon asked before jungkook tilted his head. "Dad, are you going to tell us a real story?" His eyes sparkled causing Mr jeon to chuckle and told them the story.

Jeongguk was also interested on the story. He had heard about their infamous great grandfather who was known as Cold Jack. He was the criminal whom peoples hadn't see his face and didn't meet him in figure. Mr jeon even told them that everytime there were news about him killing peoples and always threw the corpse in the river had made peoples lived in fear.

But not even one people had seen him in figure except for certain jeon family. Rumors said, Cold Jack was a ghost and liked to hunt peoples down with his curse. Other curse was his own spiritual energy that possessed his great skill on killing. Summoning this curse was from his actual dagger that was been placed beside his grave after all of the Jeon members confirmed that he was already dead.

A lot of peoples were trying to steal the dagger and summon his spiritual energy just wanted to get an ability like the Cold Jack. However, due to its requirement before receiving his spiritual energy, all of their lifes had been taken away after they got the severe fever. None of them made out alive.

The story was not supposed to be spread out because it was only been kept for those who know the story only but Mr jeon didn't believe all of that since it was just rumors.

"So that's the end of the story." Mr jeon said and the twins' mouths went 'o' before someone mad at Mr jeon.

"Dad! You shouldn't tell them that story!" Junghyun came up from behind him and Mr jeon stood up with a laugh. "Don't worry junghyun. They are just kids. Besides it is just a rumor. What could have gone wrong?" Mr jeon replied.
