The Arrival

When I got out of the limo I couldn't believe what I saw. It was beautiful! It had a pool, an archery range, a ranch, and even a track. Clifford just stood there like he knew this was going to happen. Sometimes he has what seems like regret in his eyes. I don't think much of it because it is then time to enter the beautiful palace looking mansion. Aulora and Velda, the maids, took my bags up to my room and gave me the key card. When I walked into the lounge there were already several other people there. Clifford said that it was time to mingle. We all took a seat down on the couch and other pieces of furniture in the lounge.

"Hi my name is Aura and I am 28 years old. I work as a video game creator." Aura had long brown hair pulled up in a pony tail with orange-framed square glasses. She came off as a very energetic person to say the least.

"Hey, my name is Denise and I am 24 years old. I just finished law school and this game show has started the next chapter in my life." Denise had hazel colored eyes and was olive skin toned. She had a chestnut shade of hair color that was pulled back with a headband.

"Yo what up? My name is Marquel and I'm a rapper and beat boxer. I just started to record my first song." Marquel was shorter than most the guys here and he had short brown hair. He seemed to have absolutely no care in the world about anything, so I don't really want to be an ally with him.

"Hey my name is Danny Rodgers and I am 24 years old. I am currently a baseball player for my college team." Danny was taller than Marquel and had dirty blonde hair with blue eyes. He seemed like an athletic person and that may come in handy in athletic challenges that we may encounter.

Danny was to the left of me and we were going in order, so I assumed that it was my turn. "Hey my name is Sarah and I am currently unemployed, but just graduated college last month." I didn't want them to know that I was apart of the police department (since I took the job offer) because then people would see me as a threat and want to eliminate me. My thoughts were interrupted when another person started to introduce themselves.

"Hey my name is Alexander, I am 26, and I am a soccer player." He was tan and had long wavy hair and dark brown eyes.

"Hey my name is Jake, I am 23 and I am a hockey player for my college team." Like Danny, I would like to become allies with him too due to athleticism and his intelligence that he seemed to carry.

"Hey my name is Nicki, I am 24 and an artist in the making." Nicki had long black hair and blonde highlights. She spoke in a monotone voice, not sounding too happy to be here. Overall, she just seemed off to me.

"Hello, my name is Jackie and I am a sculptor for several art conventions." Jackie was a youngster, but she could help us in challenges with her vivid imagination.

"Hey my name is Jeffery, I am 23 years old. Currently I am a quarterback for my college football team in New York." He would also be a good person to have on my team for athletic challenges.

For my team, I want to include Jeffery, Danny, Jake, Jackie, and possibly Alexander.

"Okay everyone time to get ready for lunch, head up to your Ruby Manor rooms."

While I was getting ready I heard a loud scream and rushed down the staircase.

What I saw was the reason that I saw regret in Clifford's eyes and why I felt wrong when I got into the limo.

What I saw was comprehensible.

What I saw was astonishing.

What I saw was impossible.

What I saw wasn't real. Well at least I wanted to think it wasn't, but it was.
