This one is also long but answers Trish's quesions about... I won't tell, but you'll have to read to find out!The spinning portal came to an end where the ninja found themselves in pitch darkness. The ninja got out of the vehicle and observed their surroundings. The ground on which they stood on could not be seen, no sky, no distant light, the only thing that they could see was each other. No sound erupted from the bleak void.
“I’m afraid to even take a step.” Kai tried to look deep into the abyss but his eyes began to strain and blinked. The ground was even pitch black. It looked like one could fall right down, but it was solid.
“Okay, so we are in the Doom Dimension, what’s next?” Trish looked around her but there was nothing to see.
“I would have expected something like the Dark Island where there is an actual blue sky,” Jay declared with amazement at the darkness.
As the ninja were looking around, Zane spotted a bunch of cyborgs heading their way. The ninja prepared for battle but were not expecting what occurred next.
The cyborgs, instead of racing in for a fight, were pushing in what looked to be a stage, and other cyborgs placed drums, electric guitars, trumpets, and a cello on the stage. From the darkness that surrounded them, they saw a faint rustle of a curtain and the slight whisper of a man’s voice, “Now, do it as we rehearsed.” The cyborgs then began playing slow, soothing music and sang, “Dr. Borg, Dr. Borg, Dr. Borg”, over and over. An old man with a cane and grey bear then stormed onto the stage and roared at the cyborgs.
“That’s not the right tune. That’s the one for my mother’s birthday, which reminds me that I still have to figure out how to send it to her—” The old man trailed on then walked off behind the curtain again.
The cyborgs tried again and this time played jazz music with the same words. Apparently that was not what the man wanted and came back on to the stage, ranting and raving at the cyborgs.
“Is that—” Kai did not finish because they all knew what he was going to say. They all stared, not blinking at the scene with disbelief and shock. No words could describe the surprise they felt as they discovered that Dr. Borg, the villain that had created such terrible beings to destroy their world and the man that was wanted dead, was an old guy.
“I can’t believe this is actually happening,” Trish announced slowly as they watched Dr. Borg scurry back with his cane behind the curtain while the cyborgs began to play again.
This time the rock music that echoed in the dimension satisfied Dr. Borg. He came out walking with a slight limp and an evil glare at the ninja. “Come to stop me have you?” He averted his gaze towards Trish, “I think not,” He gave a roar of laughter that sounded old and croaky.
The ninja gave a sour look of disgust to each other before Trish stepped forward. “I think there’s a little misunderstanding here, I’m supposed to—” Trish gave a laugh of relief, “I’m supposed to kill you, but I think we can clear this up easily. I’ll help you walk across the street and you don’t destroy Ninjago. Okay?” Trish gazed into the insane eyes of the old man that had lost its joy long ago.
“No, there is no misunderstanding,” Dr. Borg roared with anger as he took out a tablet and pressed a few keys that made the invisible ground on which they stood shake with fury. The old, wrinkled body of Dr. Borg began to change as his slouched back straightened; the wrinkled skin disappeared and looked young again. The gray beard vanished from his face and was replaced with a younger, brighter looking face. That’s when the intense shaking of the ground grew worse and Dr. Borg’s body began to grow immensely tall with huge muscles on his arms and a well built figure.
Trish stumbled backwards, startled at the transformation, “Hold that thought.” The other ninja were just as surprised as she was and gasped in amazement.
“What in the world just happened?!” Jay hollered.
“I don’t know! He injected some kind of aging device into his body where it allows him to become younger and stronger,” Zane declared as he backed away.
“Well, whatever it does, you have to defeat him; like now!” Kai announced as he spoke to Trish. She nodded in agreement as she still gasped at Dr. Borg.
“Ha ha!” The loud booming voice of Dr. Borg echoed in their ears and rang in their minds. The ninja stumbled back and grasped their heads in pain. “You cannot stop me. I am the creator of this dimension and I will decide what you do here.” Dr. Borg pressed some more buttons on his tablet which sent high pitched frequencies into each of the ninjas’ heads.
Kai held his head in pain but the frequencies were sending him pictures. It was Nya in the Samurai suit fighting off the cyborgs but there was too many of them. They tore open the suit and were attacking Nya inside. Kai screamed with anger at the sight. Jay was seeing his parents being stowed away in a cyborg vehicle bound and gagged in the back seat. The sight brought the blue ninja close to rage. Zane saw his father being surrounded by cyborgs with cannon all aimed at his heart. The white ninja was close to panicking and whimpered with helplessness. Cole watched in fear as a troop of cyborgs barged into his father’s studio and grabbed him.
Trish was having a harder time trying to visualize hers, but after she had, she wished it would just disappear. The scene of her parent’s car accident repeated in her mind over and over again. New faces, people she had met recently, they flashed before her and then disappeared along with her parents. She screamed and tried to get the picture out of her mind. Dr. Borg was doing this somehow with his tablet. In her mind she heard the slight but familiar whisper of her mother breaking through the noise, “Do not listen to the voices, listen to mine, and defeat what I could not, and save what I could not and all those you love.” Her mother’s word of advice gave her strength to block out the pictures and the noise. Trish stood up straight and tried to bet her friends’ attentions.
“Don’t listen to the voices, guys. It’s just Dr. Borg trying to confuse you,” Trish tried to warn the others but Dr. Borg sent another wave of the high-pitched frequencies. The ninja flew to the ground, trying to block out the noise. Some of them were close to tears. Trish was able to ignore the sound, “You can’t block the sound; you have to accept the noise, than completely ignore it.” Trish’s advice finally got through to the ninja as they accepted it, than ignored the sound completely.
“Now that that’s done, we have to get back to Ninjago, everyone there is in danger,” Kai exclaimed.
“No, we can’t.” The others looked at her in confusion at Trish’s disagreement. “Those visions we had were only things that Dr. Borg put into our minds, we have to forget about them. They are not real, we are, and this evil is too, and we have to do everything in our power to stop it.” The ninja stared into the black hole that they were in, and saw Dr. Borg stomping away with fright with the small tablet in his giant hands.
The ninja turned to see what had made the insane doctor run in such a panic. They then spotted the small electronic bug that he had thrown on the Ul-Tra Sonic Radar II while they were talking. The bug was beeping and every time it did, it grew louder and faster. The ninja were just in time to throw themselves forward to avoid the blast of the explosion. Once the ninja stood back up and wiped themselves of the dust, they saw the Ul-Tra Sonic Radar II in ruins with the parts scattered in fragments of ruble.
“Well, there goes that,” Cole sighed deeply.
“How will we get home now with the U.T.S.R II destroyed?” Jay sorrowfully whispered as they all gazed at the ruined vehicle.
“Wait… U.T.S.R II? Where did you come up with that?” Cole quizzically asked.
“Ya’ now, Ul-Tra Sonic Radar II.” Jay slowly said, spelling it out.
“Well, we can’t worry about that now. We have to stop Borg from sending anymore ‘bots over. He’ll try to escape this dimension and command his army in person. He’ll be more dangerous in Ninjago then here,” Trish pondered her thoughts and tried to straighten them, “I just don’t understand why he would destroy our vehicle when he could have used it to cross over to our world.” The ninja looked at her in wonder.
“We have to follow him where ever he’s going,” Cole led the group towards where the huge, crazy doctor had once been.
Their eyes had grown quite accustomed to the dark, but a hint of light would have been helpful in their search. They ran aimlessly into the dark with no idea where the dimension would end, but it just kept continuing.
Finally they found something.
“Guys. I see something shining over there.” Zane pointed to a sparkle that glowed in the darkness. The group ran towards the small object, but when they got closer they saw that it was just a piece of the Ul-Tra Sonic Radar II.
“If this is a part of our once-existing vehicle, we’ve been running in circles!” Kai exclaimed.
A monotonous voice echoed in the vast dimension, “Having a little trouble finding your way, are we now.” Dr. Borg’s taunting voice angered the ninja deep down to the core of their composure.
“We’ll find you, Borg,” Kai hissed into the air as he struggled to not furiously kick the invisible ground.
“Good luck with that,” Dr. Borg’s hysterically laughter boomed in their ears.
“He’s nearby, I just know it.” Trish studied around them and remembered something from his first appearance, “The curtain!”
Having heard the ninja talking, Dr. Borg began to frantically panic, “No, there’s nothing to see behind the curtain, you just go and find somewhere else to search. Just don’t look behind the curtain!” Trish drew back the curtain that she felt for in the darkness. She stepped back in amazement.
What stood before them was another world, completely covered in grass and moss with a rugged terrain of rocks and slopes. Tall trees sprung everywhere with a small pond filled with lily pads and frogs. The blue sky and bright sun beamed down on them. The ninja blinked furiously as their eyes slowly adjusted to the light. They saw a well worn path that passed through the rugged terrain. The ninja followed it and led them to an open area where they saw a circular platform made from stone. Grass and weeds popped up through the cracks of stones as they were old and uncared for. The platform was fairly large and open with lots of space to move. The outer edge of the circle was larger than the others and as you got deeper into the circle, they got smaller and smaller until a small stone made the center.
“Wow, this place is beautiful, but what was the darkness that we saw earlier?” Cole asked mysteriously as they observed the change of scenery.
“No, you weren’t supposed to find this. I tried everything, everything, to alter the prophecy. Why is it not working?” Dr. Borg appeared and was practically talking to himself, “I will be defeated and all I have created will be destroyed.” The large man fell on the floor and cried loudly. The ninja stared down at the helpless man who had gone crazy years before. They watched, not knowing what to do. Dr. Borg looked up from his crying and stared in hate into the eyes of Trish, “Because of you, I will be destroyed and all I have worked for!” He leaped from the ground and landed near where Trish stood with his fists hitting the ground. “So I will kill you instead.” He raced forward at Trish, yelling and screaming with fury.
Trish dived out of the way where Dr. Borg had thrown a large rock towards her, “This guy is completely mad!” Trish leaped high and barely avoided another rock that Dr. Borg threw. “I need you guys to distract him before he kills me,” Trish subtly hinted to the ninja as they just stood there watching. “Hello!”
“Oh, sorry, we were just watching. No problem,” Cole said with an absent minded mindset. They took out their swords and made decisive strikes at the large doctor, but the blows did not damage Dr. Borg.
Dr. Borg quickly ran up to Trish who was underneath the rock he had thrown, lifted it and picked up the motionless girl, “Hah, your swords cannot affect my synthetic flesh that I have surrounded my former body around. No one can, it withstands any metal object thrown at it.”
“Well, than take this!” Dr. Borg turned, and to his surprise, Cole came charging towards him a rock in his hands which he threw into his face. The blow made Dr. Borg stumble back with Trish still in his grasp. The ninja ran towards Trish where she lay on the ground next to Borg.
“Are you okay?” Jay helped Trish up as she rubbed her head.
“Yeah, I’ll live, but next time wait till I’m out of the way to hit him,” Trish grinned at Cole’s expression of embarrassment.
The ninja stood next to Dr. Borg who lay unconscious on the floor with the rock still on top of him. “Let’s find that tablet of his.” Zane reached deep into the pocket of the doctor’s coat and found a small device. Zane pressed a few keys and Dr. Borg began to turn back to the old man again.
“At least that’s taken care of.” Kai exclaimed sadly, “But now it’s time to finish the job.” He handed Trish her sword which had fallen to the ground when she fell.
Trish grasped the sword and stared at it before raising it with determination. She breathed in slowly. But before anything could happen, a shot rang out. At first, the ninja did not see where it came from, but Trish dropped to the floor and loudly screamed in agony. They looked around and saw a man with a robotic arm and leg grinning down at Trish who lay on the ground, whimpering in excruciating anguish as she grasped her hand and rolled from side to side with pain. Zane kneeled down and tried to comfort the whimpering girl. The ninja turned to her with worry.
“Stop holding your hand and let me see what hurts,” Zane expertly unfolded Trish’s hands and cringed. Trish’s entire left hand was missing and bleeding profusely. The gun was no gun but a small cannon that knocked the sword from Trish and cut off her hand.
“Oops, my aiming is terrible these days,” the man sarcastically said with no hint of sympathy as he blew the smoke off the tip of the cannon, “Now you know what it feels like to lose a limb.” The ninja stood up in amazement.
“You’re Dr. Borg.”
“Yes, I am, but it took you long enough to discover that,” Dr. Borg strapped the cannon back onto his belt. Dr. Borg had dark black hair with a hint of grey at the roots. He wore a white lab coat with a black shirt and pants, hiding his metallic body parts.
Trish’s face still held signs of distress as she stood up to gaze into the eyes of the real Dr. Borg. “Who is this then?” She pointed with her head to the old man still unconscious on the ground. Trish gripped her hand as she cringed at the pain and spoke softly.
“Oh, him, he’s just a robot. He was my personal guard until you destroyed him,” Dr. Borg sneered in hate towards the ninja.
“You’re welcome,” Jay declared with a satisfactory grin.
“Your rule over this dimension is over, Borg,” Trish’s words were shaky as the pain still singed in her remaining arm. “I will destroy you and the entire Doom Dimension.”
“Ha! Now will you? Not with that badly injured arm, I don’t think so. And your friends won’t be able to do anything after my cyborgs are finished with them,” Dr. Borg nodded to the cyborgs around him that started attacking the ninja.
The ninja expertly destroyed the cyborgs with a few slicing movements from their swords. Trish bent over and reached to pick up her sword. Her left hand was tucked inside her robe and moved the sword in her right hand. She concentrated as she prepared to end the battle with Dr. Borg.
“You’re weak and tired. How do you expect to kill me when you don’t even have two hands,” Dr. Borg remarked mockingly as Trish stared into the eyes of the man.
“You are in no position to make any remarks.” Trish pointed her sword with anger at Dr. Borg as the ninja circled him.
“Do you think that your friends can really destroy the master-genius Dr. Borg that created the black void of this dimension?” Quick as a flash, Dr. Borg pulled out a tazer gun that paralyzed all four of the ninja. They all fell to the floor and could not move. “Pathetic! And I thought these were the ninja that saved Ninjago several times, first from the skeletons, than from the snakes, than the stone army, and the Overlord. One more evil genius wouldn’t hurt. But I’m no ordinary evil scientist,” Dr. Borg smiled evilly at the helplessness of the ninja.
“Nope, you’re definitely not like any other evil scientist,” Dr. Borg grinned proudly at Jay’s remark as he continued, “the others we’ve encountered were never as crazy as yourself,” Jay remarked sarcastically at the grinning doctor who gave a double take at Jay’s words and frowned.
“Your flattery is going to get you nowhere. I’m going to kill your friends, than once you’re dead all of Ninjago will die too.” Dr. Borg smiled with pleasure at Trish’s sign of rage, “But that’s too nice of me to do. You know what, I’ll destroy all of Ninjago and make you watch, and then I’ll kill you and make you suffer.” Dr. Borg stood over Kai and picked him up, “To start my ultimate destruction, he’ll be the first yet third victim,” Trish shrieked in panic as Dr. Borg raised the cannon towards Kai’s head.
Kai trembled in fear as Dr. Borg was liable to pull the trigger of the cannon. “You mentioned I’d be your third victim, who was your first two?” Kai asked trying to pass time. Kai noticed that the doctor highly admired himself, so he tried to use it against him.
“Well, if you’re that interested. My first two victims were a lovely couple who had taken a pleasure drive in the country, but by some mishap the two had driven off the bridge that was under construction. It seems that some person was crazy enough to mess with the car’s brakes,” Dr. Borg sweetly told the sad tale.
Trish breathed deeply in anger, “You monster!” She ran quickly and sliced off Dr. Borg’s metal arm that released Kai to the floor.
“Aaahhh! What have you done?” Dr. Borg screamed as sparks flew from the wires that gave him movement in his arm.
“Now you know how it feels to lose a limb.” Even in Trish’s anger, she was able to find her center and fight with composer. A slight grin formed on the heart-broken girl’s expression.
“You will pay for what you have done, what you all have done.” Dr. Borg stood back and revealed a whip that was hidden in his overcoat.
“Let the battle begin.”VOTE AND COMMENT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE REST!!! mikk14 :P
