Donny's Pov

I just got out of my shower when i saw something or someone on top of my bed, i quickly open the lights to see my beautiful bestfriend—bella

"Bella? What are you doing here? And again, you did not knock or even let me know that you are here, you just walk in and lay on my bed as if it's yours" i told her

She just faked a smile and tap the empty side of the bed motioning for me to seat beside her

Here she goes again, she always does this whenever she has a problem

I slowly sat beside her

"What is it nanaman ba liit?" I asked and teases her

She just pout her lips and oh my her lips i can't help but stare at it, good thing she didn't notice

"I'm engage" she told me

I laugh thinking she is just joking but then when she didn't laugh that's when i realize she is telling me the truth

"What?! Really?!" I almost shouted

"Yeah. Aren't you going to congratulate me? I'm about to be married to someone i barely even know" she said

"You didn't know? What are you talking about" i asked her

"My stupid parents arrange a fix marriage for me. They say its good for the company and stuff, i didn't really listen to the detail.. kasi i already ran away" she said while she's starting to cry nanaman

I quickly pull her to a hug. I can't stand this. I hate Watching her cry like this. It really breaks my heart into million pieces

"I'll try to talk to tito and tita maybe they can—" she cut me off saying it's no use knowing her parents wala ng second thought-secod thought yung mga yun eh

Wala na rin akong nagawa. Hinayaan ko na lang siyang umiyak sa braso ko.

Kung ako na lang sana bella. Kung ako na lang sana yung nafix marriage sayo. Kung ako na lang sana.

Pero mukang naunahan na ata ako

*Throwback to bella's 18th birthday*

The moment i saw her, i was mesmerize of how beautiful she is, the way she smile, the way she talk, the way she laugh, oh how i love her laugh

Pero sadly she can never and will be mine

She is so beautiful it hurts my heart

"You look so beautiful tonight bella" i said without thinking

She looked at me and smile—oh my, her smile..

"What do you think of my debut?" She asked out of nowhere

"Uhm—too pink and girly to me" i said while laughing

"Yeah whatever. Malamang, it's my birthday you idiot" she said while playfully slapping my arm

We both laugh

I wish i could tell her na how much i loved her, but i couldnt because i'm too torpe

I wish i could hold her forever

I wish we could stop time, kahit na this moment lang, just me and her dancing to one of our favorite song

Pero i know that can't happen so i'll just remember every moment that we spend together, every bonding, every jokes, every laugh, every cry and even every fights, i'll forever treasure it in my heart for the rest of my life

Because i, donny pangilinan love my bestfriend bella santiago

But of course she doesn't know. No one knows, it's like my little secret

"Bella, i have something for you" i told her

"What is it?" she asked

I took out a small box from my pocket and hand it to her

"What's this?" She asked while smiling

"It's my birthday gift for you, happy birthday liit" i told her

"Ohh piggy, you're so sweet" she said while pinching my checks

oh god knows how much i love her

Actually it's a necklace, a friendship necklace

"It's a friendship necklace, i also have one, dalawa yan eh, i have the 'best' and you had the 'friend' " i told her

She's immediately open it while i try to explain, once she saw whats inside, she quickly hug me, and that took me off guard

"Piggy thank you, this is like the best gift ever" she honestly told me
