Chapter 48: Jackson - Kai = Water

"Jackson. I'm so scared..." Kai said to Jackson. The 2 were downstairs by themselves. Kai was sitting on Jackson's lap as he was behind her hugging her.

"Kai.. It's okay. We'll try our hardest to be together." Jackson said.

"Are you texting one of them?" Kai asked.

"Ani." He told her.

"Are you hanging out with them?"

"Aniya."

"Are you eating with them?"

"Nope."

"Are you going to-"

"Kai honey. Calm down. I won't betray you." Jackson placed his neck and chin on her shoulder. Kai nodded as she laid on his head.

"I really do love you." Kai said.

"Me too. If I didn't , I wouldn't be doing this." Jackson said.

"Doing what-" Kai turned her head toward him as lips were pressed against hers. She realized it was a kiss. She kissed back passionately as they smile.

"That's true." Kai separated from him.

"We're seriously the only ones left?" Jackson asked.

"Yeah. I'm still really angry about Yugyeom slapping Veronica. He didn't have to do that." Kai mentioned

"True. That was a bit over board." Jackson agreed

"A bit?" She said a bit angry.

"Arasseo. Maybe a lot over board." Jackson sighed.

"I wanted to punch him but you came." Kai says as Jackson shrugs.

"I don't want you hurting him." Jackson said.

"Arasseo." Kai inhaled and exhaled.

"It's a nice day today. Maybe when it's afternoon, I'll teach you how to swim?" He asked.

"Jinja?" Kai asked.

"Ne." Jackson nudged his face on her cheek.

"Let's do it!" Kai smiled as Jackson dreamily and deeply stares at her.

"Let's stay in this position. We'll start at 6." He told her. Kai blushed and nodded as she stayed put. She held his hand as he enjoys the moment.

"Book time." Kai says as she reaches for a book from the coffee table. She grabs it as Jackson is still on her. She opens the book to page 1 as she continues to read.

"What're you reading?" He asked.

"I'm reading a book from the states and it's called World's best Poetry , Volume 2 , Love" Kai explained as Jackson kissed her shoulder.

"You nerd." He snickered

"Shush." Kai told him as she chuckled and went to chapter 2.

-*5 minutes later*-

"I'm bored now." Jackson says as she flips to chapter 4.

"Do something. We've been in this pose for awhile." Kai said as she continued reading her page.

"I'm sleepy." He yawns. Kai sighed as she got away from his grip and laid down on the couch on her side. She re opens the book as she continued to read.

"Kai make space." He said. Kai moved a bit as Jackson laid behind her on his side. He wrapped his arms around her waist as he gets comfortable. He falls asleep as Kai continued to read

"Psst. Kai." Someone said as Kai flinched. Kai looked with her head as she saw Jinyoung.

"Oh hey Jinyoung." Kai whispered.
