chapter 34. I lost her

Ashish pov

When I woke up in the morning it was already 9 am in the morning. Shit! I am late today because of all that drama yesterday.

After brushing my teeth and taking a shower , I dressed up quickly. I didn't bother to have my breakfast because already I was running late.

As soon as I reached the studio , I rushed towards the office. Lot of work was pending....

Soon I was soo engrossed in my work that I didn't even bother to look at the time. Time flew away quickly, I didn't realise it's already 12.30 pm. My stomach was growling because I was damn hungry.

I decided to go to the cafeteria downstairs. I gave my order and I was patiently waiting for my food to arrive. My phone was buzzing in my pocket. I took it out from my pocket but I was confused when I saw Disha's number flashing on my screen.

I pushed my thoughts away and answerd the call.

"Hello" I said.

"Ashish I swear to go I will kick your balls and shove down your throat until you choke on it!!!" She yelled on the phone.

This Agarwal girls have got so much of courage to destroy the manhood.

"Whoa! Whoa! Slow .. Slow Disha. What's the matter?" I asked with a shock because honestly I don't have a hint or idea why she is threatening me.

"YOU DON'T REMEMBER WHAT YOU DID LAST NIGHT!" She yelled on me again.

"It was just a prank Disha chill!" I said with a cool expression.

"You! You know what you have done? You have hurt her feelings Ashish. Out of all pranks you have chosen this idea to prank her. The plan you were choosen to prank was soo ridiculous. I  don't know how is she right now...you people have mimicked the same situation happened three years ago on that day." she said with a sigh.

"What do you mean?" I asked unable to understand what she meant to say.

"Ashish, I told you that her boyfriend died in a accident" she asked.

"Yeah.." I replied.

"He met with an accident while driving the car and when he brought to the hospital his head was all bleeding and he was unconscious. He died because he lost so much of blood and his injury on his head was very deep. On that night Anahitha got a call that Shaan met with an accident and she immediately rushed to the hospital but soon doctor said that he is no more."she said and I really felt like beating the shit out of Rohan to come up with such a stupid plan and I am a big idiot here to agree with his plan.

"I am extremely Sorry Disha. I didn't mean to hurt her and I really didn't have the slightest clue. But what we were doing last night was just for fun." I said in a pleading tone.

"Now it's not the time to apologise to me. Go and apologize to her. I called her but she isn't lifting her call, I think I should go and check on her, if she is okay or not" she said.

"No you don't worry. It was all because of me, let me handle this Disha. I hope you understand." I said assuring her.

"Ok, take care of her." she said and hung up the phone.

I called her but she wasn't lifting her call. I know she is mad at me and she will not lift the call. But why she isn't she lifting Disha's call?

I guess she is busy.. my mind said.

But a part me said that she will never ignore Disha's call. Then what could be the reason. I guess I hurt her feelings very badly. I should go and apologize to her. What I did was wrong. This was all because of that stupid prank I pulled on her.

I took my car keys and made my way towards the parking lot to apologise Anahitha. I drove to the Agarwal industries building and parked my car and headed upstairs but I was stopped by a girl.

"Sir may I help you." she asked with her sweet voice.

"Umm... My wife. I mean Anahitha your.. boss" I asked.

"Sir, sorry you can't meet her now," she said with a hesitation.

"But why? She is my wife. I can meet her , talk to her at anytime I want." I said pulling the door of her cabin.

"But maam is not here," she said nervously.

This girl is hiding something from me.

"Where did she go?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know....where did she go but she was upset and... looking sad.." she said.

"Did you see her leaving the office?" I asked.

"No. But I am sure that I didn't see her sitting in the  cabin since two hours." She said and left when she got a call.

I tried her calling many times her phone was not reachable.

Goddammit!....

I made my way towards the parking lot and I asked the guard but he said that she left two hours ago.

I searched her in the nearby diners, coffee shop, even in the malls.
I even told my people and my workers to search her.

Evening 6.o clock.

I searched everywhere but she was nowhere to be found. I don't know where she went. What if somebody kidnapping and raped her? No! No!

What if she met with an accident...

No!

I guess I lost her..

I rubbed my temples and I haven't eaten anything since morning.  I thought of calling disha and inform her that she is missing but I decided against it. Now I am not in a condition to face her wrath.

I sighed and made my way towards the spot which I like to spend there whenever I am upset and feel lonely.
I need some peace of mind to think otherwise my mind will blow away with the amount of tension I am taking.

I climbed out of the car and made my way towards my spot where I used to sit.

From my peripheral vision I saw a girl sitting on the bench. She looked familiar.

I took a few steps forward to get a clear view of her...

Omg!

There she sat...she brought her knees closer to her chest and wrapped her arms around it. She wore black jeans and black top ..she was looking sad.

"Anahita!" I called..

She turned her head and as soon as her gaze mine, she looked at me with shock written all over her face.

I was relieved that I found her but a part of me said to shout and yell on her that she is so  irresponsible and careless that she didn't even bother to check her phone and call back.

She walked upto me and she cupped my  face with her palms.

My eyes were like , it will anytime come out of my sockets. My jaw dropped and I stared at her.

"Sorry Ashish" she muttered.

With that my heart melted...
